Thai House Express is my go to choice for Thai food in Palmerston North. Never disappointed! I usually go for the green curry which is always delicious. Even when it's busy (which is often!) the food is ready in no time, and always tastes fresh. Definitely recommend

Went to this restaurant conveniently located on a quiet corner of the square. It is a favorite of my family and I can see why. Great food (we had the Lemon Honey Chicken, Malai Kafta and Beef Ragnorosh) all were very tasty and perfectly spiced. We also had plain naan, papadam and a chai tea. All very well done. The decor is nice and very friendly staff. Highly recommended.

Went here to the Palmerston North Branch last night, have been here previous time before with not many issues. But this time was the last and final time we will go here!!!My Husband went up to the counter and ordered a iced mocha for him and an iced chocolate for me as we have done the last times we were there, i ordered the Satay noodles and he ordered the Mild Red Curry, one of the staff came over and gave us a iced coffee..??we said " is this an iced mocha" she said "" yes yes an iced coffee" and she then walked away.. confused and annoyed we then waited for another staff member to the bring us an iced mocha... we said" this order was meant to be an iced mocha and an iced chocolate" she took the coffee away and then the manager came over with the same iced iced coffee and said " this was the drink we ordered as she was right next to the girl who put this through for us at the counter (i was sitting at the table when this happened and she wasn't anywhere near the counter when this order was placed) SO SHE JUST LIED TO US TO GET OUT OF IT, we said " this order was meant to be an iced chocolate and and mocha as i am pregnant and am not drinking coffee" she then left and we eventually got the iced chocolate.When our mains were served to us when as a result or a coincidence of this issue my husband got a super spicy supposedly 'mild' red curry meal served to him and my meal came with 2 black hairs chucked in the mix... did not complete my meal to say the least. So all in all would you really trust this place if you had a issue with any wrong thing served as a result you'll get the staff tampering with your food. DO NOT TRUST THIS PLACEHi I was with my staff when you made the order at the counter, one iced coffee and one iced mocha. We brought one iced mocha and iced coffee to your table. You refused to my staff that it is not iced coffee, it is supposed to be iced chocolate. I carried it back again to your table to see if my staff served the drink to the right person. Many times the staff served at the wrong table or some customers got the wrong items because they got someone to order for them. We usually change it for the customers if it is wrong. We have changed from Iced coffee to Iced chocolate for you as requested because your wife is pregnant and could not take any coffee as mentioned. We have changed from iced coffee to iced chocolate, not change from iced mocha to iced chocolate as mentioned in the story above. If the food contains any defect from our cooking, we will ask the customers to change to another dishes that they prefer with no extra cost or the same dishes and refund the money. If we knew the problem at that moment that you were at Chada Thai, we will address the problem immediately and refund your money. Beyond anything else, we would love to see the customers enjoy our Thai food with authentic taste that we are delivering in New Zealand. If you travel to Thailand before, you may realize that our cooking is very authentic and tasty with ingredients that available in New Zealand. We shipped most ingredients from Auckland to create the best Thai food in Palmerston North. We did not mean to destroy your valuable time to be at Chada Thai at all. Apologise for this hiccup and really wish to see you again with new coming member of your family. :)

After 3 years nothing has changed. Good then, good now. Big problem, not in the UK as yet but I'm hoping. Seafood, 4 and 2 legged food, vegetables to die for, sauces to make anyone happy, fruit, and finally, ice-cream and pancakes. Whats not like? Family friendly, clean, staff so good they are almost invisible. How do they do it for the price? The first to do this in the UK will make a killing at twice the price.

Decided to visit restaurant after a few drinks at The Fat Farmer. We have not been here for some time but we were not dissapointed! The staff were extremely welcoming and friendly. The food was outstanding and the portion size was sufficient. They were able to match our like of madras and jalfrezi with the dishes on the menu. Will definately visit again!Thank you for the review and we are very pleased and deeply humbled to hear that you have absolutely enjoyed dining with us. We dined at Yeda on the recommendation of a friend, and werenât disappointed. The food was authentic, fast, and had good flavour. Definitely go fo some Kimchi. They also have a reasonable selection of GF available. Only suggestion would be a more extensive wine list, only having one Pinot Gris, and not available by the glass meant we had to buy a bottle.

We've been here many times and I love that they serve traditional Japanese dishes, not Japanese fusion dishes like most of the other Japanese restaurants in PN. The food is always attentively and attractively plated, and of excellent quality. The service is friendly and welcoming and the dishes are served promptly. The sashimi is particularly good, as is the tempura. It's not cheap, but I think the dishes represent good value for money, given their high quality. There's nothing much more to say really - we always have a very enjoyable evening and this is probably my favourite restaurant in PN. Be sure to book for the weekend.

Arranged Marriage is probably the best Indian restaurant in town. The cuisine is based around Kerala, South-west India. On a Friday night we went as a group of five and had plenty of excellent dishes to choose from, covering a wide range of tastes. Our main selections included chicken dosa, pork malabari, tiger prawns, Kerala chicken and all were pronounced delicious. This restaurant is certainly worth a visit - more than once!

Have been here lots of times and its always good. Only once recently did it disappoint with a salad being lacking in value and size. I'm hoping this was once off and we will continue to go there and enjoy their wonderful food. The service is always polite and friendly and most often food arrives quickly. If you haven't tried Japanese food or want more of it and not tried this Restaurant...go here!!!
