Doetinchem (Dutch pronunciation: [ˈdutɪnˌxɛm] ( listen); Low Saxon: Deutekem) is a city and municipality in the east of the Netherlands. It is situated along the Oude IJssel (Old IJssel) river in a part of the province of Gelderland called the Achterhoek . The municipality had a population of 57,292 in 2017 and consists of an area of 79.66 km (30.76 sq mi) of which 0.60 km (0.23 sq mi) is water. This makes Doetinchem the largest town (by population) in the Achterhoek.

The atmosphere is nice , you will be guided to a table , and you can order on the tablet .You choose 5 small dishes each , and this you can repeat as often as you want , you can do this for 2,5 hours or 3 hours.The first order did take a bit long , but then it started comming very quickly .A must try are the spicy chicken shusi rols and the big Gambas on a stick , all is freshly prepared and taste is good .Good valeu for money

Although we come here with friends every year, once a year and always order the same rice table, this is actually a pretty good chinese restaurantThey have a fairly big restaurant with one side reserved for a la carte ordering and another one for buffet sideSince we always take the same huge rice table with several different plates, on that one i can say it is pretty goodThe rest looks goodThey also offer take out and have a big private parking available

real, authentic Indonesian cuisine! for a very reasonable price. we were with 6 and ordered the "rijsttafels" plus some extra dishes and were pleasantly surprised with the food. All 6 of us are quite experts with Indo food and we all liked it.Our only comment was that the "a la carte" menu is far too modest. No kambing, no kunjit dishes, no gamba's, but ok, we were already happy finding this restaurant.Also wine and drinks (only house-wine and beer) were modest on the menu but their red wine is perfect for a rijsttafel.very pleasant owner and staff, despite what was a busy evening for them.

Wat je niet zou verwachten een heerlijk en apart chinees restaurant. De menu kaart wijkt af van de traditionele menukaart van een chinees. Er staan heerlijke gerechten op. Hele aardig bediening. Een herhaling waard eten op hoog niveau mooie locatie en goede bediening wat wil je nog meer

seated close to the entrance every time the door opend a stream of very cold air touched us, it was nessecary to put on our winterjackets to be ok...service was extremely unpleasant, as there was no interest to make this a nice experiance for us....first long wait to get the beverages, had to ask for them again, than we asked for some honey to the tea...it did not appear, we had to ask again...than only one part of my order arrived, so my friend had to eat from this too, as hers was not deliverd for antoher 20 -30 minutes....hers arrived ..it was completely oversalted, barely to eat....second part of my order was not deliverd after 60 minutes, so i asked, tha the servant said that it had been deliverd.....it was not deliverd to us, but falsely put on the neighbours table...after long discussions and very unpleasant reactions and statements of the server the took the order , where already two of the six sushipieces wher eaten, was taken away on their table, brought to the open cuisine that was very close to us and as an open cuisine you can watch what happens in their.....so one minute later they come with the same plate of sushi they took away from the neighbours table, addes two aditional pieces, alll was cold, because it had been standing for 20 minutes on the neigbours table...and they really served this to me...i was shocked, confronted them with this very unethical behaviour and they denied to have acted like this, but it was not possible to make fresh veggie tmpura in one minute and when freshly prepared they would have been slightly warm......after all there was no excuse for the wrong behaviour and the fact they serve something that has already stood on another customers table for 20 minutes and they had consumed from it is absolutley unacceptable.....shame on the people there to treat customers this way....shame shame shame....

When the place started some 6-7 years ago, under Dutch management, it was a resounding success: fresh and good food, friendly service, fair price. That built their reputation and had people coming back often.In the last two years, under the new administration, the place went down completely and does not deserve a comeback in no way whatsoever.I was never in hundreds of travels, some of which can be seen here, charged at the restaurant door before eating - it's ridiculous and completely unacceptable, it sounds greedy and unwelcoming!Light is extremely important wherever you have food, it should highlight it and invite it into your mouth; the place is all under dimmed lights, it seems deliberate, so you don't see the food properly.There are different stations with different kinds of food, mostly Asian/Chinese, the background of the new owners. Half empty pots and pans are distributed in some stations; are they going to be refilled or not?Food covered in plastic which you have to unwrap yourself is also not ideal, isn't it? Everything looks lazy, greasy, uncared for, like the cheapest has been used, so the owners could profit as much as possible. Staff looks overworked, underpaid and unmotivated, no smiles at all...It has become a cheap (not in the sense of costs!) place to fill up your stomach and eat till you drop, especially when one sees the clientele there. If you are looking for quality, Doetinchem has a handful of other nice places to choose from!One feels very sad to see what a very nice place, with potential, has become - never ever back there and I strongly don't advise you'd go, unless you're a glutton and all you want is a full stomach with no quality or care...

It's a family restaurant already well-established in Doetinchem for a few years, mostly known for its take-away menu and very generous portions; maybe it should just cost some 10% less...The open kitchen is indeed a plus, you can see exactly what and how your food is being prepared!One can also eat there, 6 tables available for two people each and parking less than a minute away.
