Doetinchem (Dutch pronunciation: [ˈdutɪnˌxɛm] ( listen); Low Saxon: Deutekem) is a city and municipality in the east of the Netherlands. It is situated along the Oude IJssel (Old IJssel) river in a part of the province of Gelderland called the Achterhoek . The municipality had a population of 57,292 in 2017 and consists of an area of 79.66 km (30.76 sq mi) of which 0.60 km (0.23 sq mi) is water. This makes Doetinchem the largest town (by population) in the Achterhoek.

We visited the restaurant on a Saturday evening when all other restaurants seemed very occupied. Here we received the service we hoped for and a very good meal in a nice atmosphere.

Heerlijk gegeten. Niet te duur en erg goed gemaakt het personeel is erg vriendelijk. De sfeer is erg prettig we komen zeker nog eens terug.

Tafel gereserveerd, nadrukkelijk afgesproken niet naast de toiletten. Toch kregen we die tafel. Gelukkig konden we nog verhuizen. Gerechten matig qua smaak, karig, nauwelijks brood en de truffel in de pasta met truffel was ver te zoeken. Gastheer niet gezien, service matig.Helaas....

I happened upon Michaâs on a Sunday, in the early afternoon, looking for a place to eat and have a coffee.Great coffee, quick but relaxed table service, and wonderful outdoor seating on a sunny Sunday afternoon.Michaâs is just seconds away from busier restaurants and was an excellent choice. I will be back again on future visits to Doetinchem.

a nice place in this city. with a cuisine which is unlikely for this area. Nice personal.This restaurant interieur has a mix, but suits nicely.Although it was not very busy, we had to wait long(er) than normal on our food.It was totally worth the waiting, but any way... it's a feeling.If you want a nice meal and a quite ambiance this is absolutely the place to be

It was a very pleasant surprise to be taken to such a good restaurant in Doetinchem. Service was fantastic. Very friendly and professional. The inside of the restaurant looks wonderful.Spacious tables and the food ( international in style and presentation) was delicious. All dishes are explained in detail. A great experience.
