Reading the reviews, I had great expectations from the place but was disappointed that it was not upto the mark. The south Indian food was very average and the North Indian food was not done well at all. I would avoid this place and try something else instead

Went for a dinner. Food is good. Their special menu is interesting. Though the prices are on the higher side. The service staff is courteous and prompt but are always in a hurry to ask for the next order. Their cauliflower dosa, wheat paratha, stuffed ceylone paratha were good. Surely worth a visit for those who like vegetarian food.

Visited the place on referral. Ordered chicken tapaka. Liked the style of cooking, however the chicken was severly overcooked. I guess rubber pellets would have been softer than the chicken. Overpriced menu. Free wifi is an advantage. Ambience is ok.

Being a food lover, after visiting multiple restaurant finally found a place which serves proper wheat Indian bread. Place is ok with neutral ambience and location on ECR road close to Auroville. The place serves good North Indian food but it's a bit overpriced for the locality. Visited the place for dinner, tried different indian breads, Masala Kulcha is good. Chicken Curries are good too. Lassi wasn't so great.

Family run two-storey Cafe & Restaurant serving a range of traditional Indian and Chinese cuisine, snacks and beverages. Beautiful thatched terrace upstairs overlooking the nearby temple.

I've eaten at 3 Ways several times – it's my favourite option when I feel like a change from Auroville's own restaurants. The food is consistently good and it has the best free wifi around. I particularly like the upstairs terrace, covered by a thatched roof but open-sided, with a view of sunset skies if you come for an early dinner.

When we arrived here we thought the place looked great - hippy vibes and very chilled out with fairy lights in the garden around outdoor seating. A huge fully vegan menu with smoothies and juices, salads and veggie plates as well as curries and stir fry’s and then raw desserts too! We both had the tofu salad and the spring rolls which were really tasty. However our main server was SO rude. No pleases or thank yous, no smile, no eye contact. We honestly felt really unwelcome by him. When asking a question he would just bark out yes or no answers and at the end when we paid we were waiting for our change which he seemed to have no intention of giving to us as when we asked for it he told us to go up to the kitchen and ask for it back ourselves! Such a shame as we had a good meal here and would have probably returned during the rest of our trip in Pondi however this particular staff member prevented us from returning again. Worth a visit but I hope a friendlier staff member serves you!

The experience of eating a meal at Goyo is like a journey to a temple of Korean food. The food is vegetarian (non-violent), everything is hand made from scratch, it is made with love and devotion and the recipes are a multitude of textures and flavours that only could have slowly developed over thousands of years of deep and reflective culture and civilization. The restaurant is set in the middle of Auroville in a beautiful long building with artists and architects and offices. Goyo is more or less in the middle of this. When you arrive you sip Korean tea (it changes everytime with rare medicinal herbs sometimes and sometimes green tea). A gong rings and we all proceed for a prayer and then we are introduced to the restaurant. Lunch is a buffet and it is served in silence. The Korean mung curd is of the best and the home made kimches too, seaweed is abundant in the meal as are sesame seeds and other wonderful ingredients. We have taken our children too and they have loved the experience of sitting in silence. I would say confidently out of Korea this is the best silent vegetarian restaurant ever. Thank you Goyo!

We had an amazing dinner at Mother's Grace. The food was delicious and service was extremely professional. The organic theme and related decor was really interesting to note. It was really nice interacting with the proprietors and learning about their life. Their attempt to sustain an organic way of life is truly commendable.
