This place is a must visit for those love smoothies and cold pressed juices. They have a wide and innovative range of options for both. I had the'nutties affair' which was delicious. Not cheap but reasonably priced for the product they offer. Nice cosy ambience.

Having a meal here is a must for you to feel what Auroville is all about. Visitors have to pay through and Auro card or take token from the guest centre located on the first floor of the same building. It is a community eating centre. Lunch time for visitors is after 12;45pm and the place is shut down by 1:30pm. It is vegetarian fare served in buffet style. Can get very busy.

Nice cool new cafe on canal road between White Town and Black Town, towards the Muslim quarter, this cafe is not far from the heritage areas, and close to Cazy Street - worth checking out - and I like this cafe for the best cafe I've had in Pondicherry. Clean, stylish, modern, with a large menu including salads, international cuisine and local dishes, this has a hip bike theme, and friendly staff. Prices reasonable, and you can sit and look out at the world go by.

Being a food lover, after visiting multiple restaurant finally found a place which serves proper wheat Indian bread. Place is ok with neutral ambience and location on ECR road close to Auroville. The place serves good North Indian food but it's a bit overpriced for the locality. Visited the place for dinner, tried different indian breads, Masala Kulcha is good. Chicken Curries are good too. Lassi wasn't so great.

An experience not to be forgotten. An evening in Shyama’s home and kitchen. Not only did we watch her make 6 or 7 dishes, she had prepared several other dishes in addition which were fabulous. Far too much to eat.Cleanliness and organisation superb. We sat down for an amazing selection of Indian cuisine. Excellent hospitality and Shyama’s knowledge of Indian cooking was unlimited, not to mention her charming disposition.If you are a foodie, a place not to miss if you are in Pondicherry.

We revisited mangohill yesterday and we were received like Kings! The service is impeccable and friendly. The food is very good and swift. Last week we complained here about the decline of the place but this was immediately turned around... So happy to have our favorite restaurant back the way it was and better!Thanks again for preserving that escape for us ;-)
