I'm sorry to have to give a bad review for Sukanusa. We have travelled here several times and were looking forward to the fantastic Sukanusa dinners again. I don't know what has happened but the quality had dropped so much I couldn't believe it was the same kitchen. 5/7 of our group received such small portions that they had to continue their meal elsewhere. Service was non-existent. No-one at the desk, we had to wander into the kitchen to order dessert and drinks as no-one was tending to us. Our big favourite, the vanilla nut shake tasted like it had been watered down, not as rich and yummy as a couple pf years ago. Also the famous tofu burger was totally tasteless. I hope Sukanusa brings back the flavour to their once fantastic dishes and increases the portions sizes back to what they should be. We gave this same review face to face while we were paying. I wish I could be as happy about Sukanusa as I had been in previous years but I am not. Sorry!

We were in Penida for 4 days and have been at the fullmoon bar every day. Their food is fine (great chicken burger), they can make a lot of cocktails and have live music every night (local bands)! There is a local vibe as both locals and a lot of travelers stop by and this makes it a great place to meet people. Only feedback I can give is that the prices are a bit on the higher side and that the staff can look for Bintang refills a bit more often. Still a place to visit!

During our stay at Cubang Huts we also had the pleasure of eating there many times. As well as breakfeast supplied we also had lunch and dinner there on a few occasions. They provide a great mixture of western and indonesian meals. If you are going to Dream Beach and feel hungry then try this little gem.

stayed for two night to relax and enjoy the nature the people at reception were wonderful. Rooms were comforting and location centrally located on the devils eye (5mins walk)and sunny beach (7mins walk)and easy to get around to all the places one wants to visit.Next door to left have massage shop and right with motor bike/ bicycle to rent .The hotel offer Chinese food and Japanese food , the owner imported from overseas, the waiters could speak some word in Chinese as well

We came here twice, first with friends and then just my husband and I. Both times we had pizza, the best in Nusa for us, the Margherita is to die for. Also, calamari was excellent, and one of the coolest Bintang in the island. The waiter is the sweetiest and the owner very friendly. If you like the voice, here is the place to go. We came to Nickâs Place due to the good reviews and we were not disappointed. Lovely garden setting, very friendly and attentive staff, and a great menu. The ribs were delicious, very tender, lots of meat and so much flavour, definitely their signature dish. Caesar salad, prawn balls and crispy duck were also very good. I would return for the same again. Next time will try the desserts too ! Thanks Nick

The guys served the full restaurant with a small crew and we still got the food in time. We took the chicken burgers that came in black buns with fries and salad, were tasty and worth more than the 30k asked. Good dinner for little money, nothing too fancy, attentive service and beautiful bambooey ambiente with a bar, a couple of large tables and huts where you gather around low round tables eating seated on the floor.
