Fui con mi esposa y nos encantó el ambiente, con un saxofonista que nos deleitó con su música, el ambiente muy bonito y los camareros muy atentos. Las tapas exquisitas y las bebidas igual, nos gustó todo. Con gusto volveremos!!

This is a HUGE new Canadian-owned beach bar that just opened during the summer of 2016. They have a very attractive layout, with swings, tables, "beach" seating area (sand, but not really on the beach) and a stereo system that can probably be heard all the way to Cabarete. Having passed by it many times, I was perplexed that there are not more clients there. So, I tried it out with some friends. Not surprisingly, the drinks are weak and overpriced. However, I was expecting that given the facility. What I didn't expect is their insistence on charging a 30% tax on all checks, even when you are paying cash! Anyone who has spent any time at all around Las Terrenas knows you have to pay this tax when paying with credit cards, however, it is virtually never applied to "cash" customers.The bottom line is that not only are the drink prices higher than just about anywhere else in town, by the time you get your bill they are even 30% higher than the posted price! No wonder the place is empty...

The Boonies sells authentic Texas style BBQ. The Brisket is Angus and the ribs and are both imported. Chef Ney GARRIDO and his team use cooking facilities that are shocking. The smoker is a sight to behold, but it produces some of the best Texas style smoked product. The best in the DR for sure. Ney produces some amazing meals. I am a sucker for the seared Tuna. Amazing product and amazing results from this tiny kitchen. The menu has a nice variety of of great food at great prices, don't forget he also has a Pizza oven. His staff are a delight.

Finding food at one of the sealine bistrós or small restaurants at the fishermen's zone "Los Pescadores" at Las Terrenas after 11 pm is almost impossible. After 4 stops and the "cerrado" smacked at our faces with a herd of 7 "more than hungry" young adults, we came across El Mosquito Bar/ Disco/Bite. The place had a few other late "hungry caterpillars". A little noisy for me, cause the restaurant area is right across the disco and they kind of share the music.Everyone was ready to eat whatever they had. The menu was basic, sandwiches, burgers and hotdogs with crispy french fries...and cold beer...coca cola and water. The service was Ok and the price was right!! My only issue was with a couple of stray dogs that hang out there watching you to get some crumbs or some leftover from the tasty burgers. I love dogs, but am not comfortable having these stray ones so close to us. At first, I was bugged by it, but the owner of the place welcomed them as, regular customers, so I figured they were not a threat. Who knows, maybe you can bring your dog along!

We have spent two great evenings in Soho enjoying their great hospitality and delicious food. First evening we ordered starters only: Chicken Wings and Fish and Chips. Both were extraordinary delicious and portions were big. We got service in english. It was very positive that waitresses who were not speaking english were still checking that we have all we need and food is according our expectations. Interior is very cozy and place is clean.In our 2nd visit we ordered two different kind of pastas and food was just amazing. Service equally good as first time we visited in Soho.Strong recommendation to visit during your stay in Las Terrenas.

I tried this restaurant for lunch with my boyfriend. I ordered the cheeseburger and he ordered chicken fingers and fries. My hamburger meat had an off taste so I sent it back and completely lost my appetite. My boyfriend said his chicken fingers were mediocre. The fingers came with 6 pieces and the side of fries were an additional cost. Overall very expensive for what you get. I would not eat here again. We take each guest experience very personal and as you know, we made sure your meal was removed from the cost of your bill.
