The service was terribly slow. We were there almost 3 hours and just waiting and waiting for our food. The starters despite being long underway were quite nice and the wine great.However, the meat were not cooked as instructed and the waiter did not know what was served - neither the origin of the meet and the 'done-ness' leading to lots of confusion when serving.Returning some meat twice for wrong cooking temperature - we never ended with a 'cooked to perfection' feeling. Also ordering more wine was not registered and had to be repeated after a long wait.I think the place needs a chef who can actually cook meat as ordered everytime (now that it is a steak place) and the waiting staff should up their game and be more alert of the guests.I have been to several of the chains restaurants but I am not going here again.Dear Henrik, Thank you very much for your review here on Tripadvisor.That's the only way we can get better.I am very sorry to hear about your experience with us. We are an American Diner, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. We have pancakes, french toast and omelettes for breakfast. For lunch we do Italian Beef, Tuna Melts and Grilled Cheese with bacon. We serve our cheeseburgers all day, packed with pure beef. W

Just finished eating here while on a work trip in Copenhagen. It was a great experience. The burgers are fantastic! The owner was really friendly and the place had a nice chilled atmosphere.Would highly recommend

During our visit in Copenhagen we invested quite some time looking for good places to eat at reasonable price. This one was definitively a win!During a cold afternoon we dropped by to have lunch. Luckily we found a table inside the place. Apparently they used an old trolley car to place the table which is very interesting. Regarding the food, the burgers are out of this world, very juicy and tasty.This place is a must in Copenhagen.Dear "Ronald P"It made me happy to read your wonderful review. HEY DARLING is everything we love the most! We love gin so we have plenty of it. We love coffee, so we brew on our Chemex. We love a classic cocktail and good wine. And of course we love our meatballs!

Hey Darling is a great date spot featuring various meatballs, delicious sides, and cocktails. My wife and I did the dinner for two (750 Danish), which included an appetizer, two cocktails, two meatball orders, three sides, and two desserts. Iâm a vegetarian, and the meatless meatballs were delicious. Service was outstanding.

My boyfriend and I went here during a city break in copenhagen and we werenât disappointed! The food is very reasonably priced (just under £10 for a burger chips and drink) compared to most places in Copenhagen. The food was faultless, burger was juicy and was filled with plenty of cheese and salad. While waiting you could also hear the burgers being cooked which is a good sign as you know they are made fresh to order. The guy who runs the place is very friendly and helpful and also offered us a chocolate from a box as we were paying which was a lovely gesture. Would definitely recommend and would return if visiting the city again!!
