We were a big group with prepaid meals. I was stuck eating there for 3 days. Same breakfast buffet, similar buffet lunch & dinner. The food, and I could be wrong appears to be all packaged and reheated. I could not take it, I finally figured out that if I loaded up with salads and made my own salad, added the veggies from the chafing dish I could eat healthy. My colleague texted me at one point, we need to get outta of here and eat elsewhere, my response, "what you don't like fish sticks?" On our last night, ready to use my salad technique, there was no buffet, fixed menu, Chicken, short ribs, and pasta. I asked if I could eat off the menu, and just order a salad, I would have paid more, but the answer was NO. OK, I ordered the short ribs, dry, with some sort of Korean sauce. I just wanted salad. Now the worst part of the meal, is that others in the restaurant were ordering from the menu. I was too tired and by that time, lost my appetite to complain. In all my years of travel for both personal and business the one thing I have learned is that hotels do what guests want, within reason, and usually we pay more for it, that is OK. Not that night, our group spent a lot of money, 50 people most staying 3 nights, eating 3 meals a day, at the very least they could have given me a salad. I would say that I will never go there again but the resort serves our purpose and is quite awesome for meetings so next year will come again but maybe I will ask our organizer to not feed me and I will order pizza, burritos or Pho from Alliston.Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback on your recent conference stay. Our culinary team works diligently to provide our guests with a variety of choices on our buffet. Our breakfast buffet offering is consistent with a variety of hot & cold options to satisfy a multitude of guests. Our dining staff is always open to providing an a la carte option based on dietary requirements or if you prefer a different style of egg preparation. The dinner menus change nightly as well and with your group, one night was a buffet and the following was a la carte. It is unfortunate that you did not prefer any options offered for your group meals as the offerings were pre-arranged based on the package chosen by the event coordinator. We certainly strive to accommodate all special requests on site and will be sharing your comments and concerns with our culinary and dining team for improvements to service standards and menu options. It is great to hear that our meeting facilities suit your group needs. For future, we will be sure to include your concerns and expectations of food options and feel free to contact the conference organizer directly so that we can ensure that appropriate selections are available at your next group event. We are big breakfast people. Our favourite meal for dining out is breakfast. Since Stacked has opened in Alliston it is our favourite restaurant .Itâs a franchise and can be found in many locations. Which sometimes means good and sometimes means bad. But this location is fantastic.We had a short wait to get a table but dealt with courteous staff and wonderful food.The coffee got refilled in a timely fashion and breakfast was served hot and in good time considering how busy it was.My wife is suffering from an illness and we asked to get our bill quicker than usual to get her back to bed and our waitress took great care of us. It was our anniversary as well.Canât say enough good things about this restaurant.If you like breakfast.Get STACKED.

We have visited the Halibut House more than a few times now and have always been very pleased with the service. The restaurant is bright and clean and the staff is very friendly and accommodating. We have tried both the halibut and the haddock. The batter is thin and crisp and the fries are very tasty. There is plenty of food. The Greek salad is wonderfully fresh and the dressing homemade. There is a $7 special for Haddock on Sunday's and Monday's and daily lunch size specials as well. Definitely worth checking out for the price. Would definitely recommend this as your go-to place.

We tried Peake BBQ as a friend had recommended it. We werenât disappointed. The prices are reasonable and the food was scrumptious. The smoked brisket & ribs were amazing and the sides were also freshly homemade and delicious. The atmosphere is kind of fun as the owners are not only the chefs but also your servers. They are friendly and came to check on us regularly. They even brought us a free order of frito pie when we were reluctant to order it and stayed around to enjoy our reaction to it. (Delicious, by the way). Dessert (fun sugar cookies with their logo on the icing) is also served at the end of the meal. We were told that there is only a certain amount of meat smoked each day and once itâs gone, itâs gone, so I would recommend to go early for the best selection (They were out of brisket by the time we left)Looking forward to our next visit!

My family ate a late lunch and I have to say this SC is in need of some care. Booths are all ripped, tables had napkins underneath so they didnt tip, the floors were dirty, the menus all falling apart and greasy to touch. Not a good first impression. Then we got our food. I order the roast beef dinner and the roast beef was super dry, the veggies I got were horrible. The cauliflower was brown, the carrots were flimsy and looked dehydrated. I was shocked that they actually served me this dinner by the look of it. Horrible. Dont they have someone checking quality of food going out.The staff were super friendly. Which was nice. But, our server only came by once, when we were almost done. Never checked if we needed anything. This was the last meeting for our group of 10 on Saturday December 30th 2017. Good food and fellowship and 4 members are off to Arizona for the rest of the Winter. Just like to say a special thank you to Christina for looking after the Romeo's and Roleo's. That is the acronym for Retired older men eating out and retired older ladies eating out.
