Absolutely delicious Hiroshima-style okonomiyaki, prepared with lots of love by the sweetest, warmest owners ever, an older couple cooking side by side. Recommend!!

We had a one night stay here whilst on a birdwatching trip . We were pleased there is a restaurant in the vermont hotel as we didn't feel like wandering too far. We had a low table with a well for our feet which I was pleased about as I'm not as flexible as I used to be. We ordered a set menu for two. This included sashimi Squid, 8 pieces of sashimi mixed fish , salad, set curd, miso soup, beautifully cooked beef plus 5 pieces of sushi and nigiri with Japanese green tea. The fish was extremely fresh as you'll see from the photo the fish we ate had been swimming only 10 minutes ago! . If you like fresh fish this is for you. It wasn't cheap but considering the quality of the food it was good value for money.

ホテルルミエールの1階にある食堂兼居酒屋です。水槽に門川港など近郊の漁港からいた活魚が泳いでいます。お店の売りはうどんのようですが余所者は宮崎名物を食べたいわけで。地鶏の炭焼と冷汁をいただきました。当然地鶏旨いけどゆず胡椒のポテンシャルの高さが半端ない。冷汁はお出汁が良くて味噌の味も引き立つし、旨い！食べている最中はコバエ2匹と格闘しながらで美味しいものを邪魔されて…。

宮崎の登山旅行の帰りに夕食で立ち寄りました。歴史を感じる建物で、1、2階に席があります。メニューは一般的なとんかつ店と同じようなものです。その中から、「ひれかつ」をいただきました。評価の高いお店であることは知っていましたが、その通りで美味しくいただきました。トンカツの衣はサクサクした食感で、豚肉はジューシーを残して揚げてあります。トンカツの切り口はほんのりしたピンク色が残っていますが、食べている間に衣の熱が中に入って行き白くなってきます。油のしつこさがなく食べやすいトンカツでした。食後のコーヒーも付いていました。お替りできる添え物のキャベツはかなりの量がありますので、お替りは不要でした。

Chain Udon restaurant where are very popular in the north part of Miyazaki prefecture.Cheep and various menus. Kind of sweet soup and thin noodles.I recommend you "tenryou Udon"(Kama age udon).

On an intimate distant fisherman town, a fantastic warm loving beach community lives.We found ourselves eating with the locals at this great restaurant!! Service is just like at your mom's kitchen and food tastes as good as you can imagine. For real.Check it out, loved it and will return soon.
