Reviewed By PJLOBBYFound this gem in the village of Bellin. A former mansion built by a German who made his fortune in mining bat guano in Chile in the early 20th century. Bought back by his granddaughter who now operates it as a resort accommodating travelers and hosting weddings and similar events. Great rooms and a wonderful dining room that accommodated 10 cyclists at a large central table. Would highly recommend.

Schloss Putnitz is a historic manor home located in Ribnitz-Damgarten. Cozy apartments and an elegant ambience set the tone for a delightful, memorable stay. Right on the River Recknitz, and just minutes from the coast, the location is the ideal place for outdoor recreation. Hop in of the canoes for a paddle on the river, try fishing in the Recknitz, or travel a few miles for surfing lessons.
Beautiful with one big problem
Reviewed By hertzberglWe stayed in a suite on the ground floor. It had two bedrooms, a shared bathroom, a full kitchen, a parlor and dining area. The beds were very comfortable. The rooms were clean. There were no screens on the windows and it was warm. At night, it was 28 C (80 F) in the suite and we opened windows to cool off. In came the mosquitoes! We stayed for four nights and all were miserable. Either we sweated in our beds or we got bitten.

Wunderbarer Ort!
Reviewed By JK MDas Schloss Dreilützow ist ein wirklich einzigartiger Ort. Ob ganz normal im Alltagsbetrieb für Schulklassen oder gar bei einem der großen Events wie z.b. dem Lichterfest Ende August eines jeden Jahres. Ein Besuch lohnt sich und wenn man schon mal da ist sollte ein Besuch des Schlossgartens sowie des Schlossgespenstes auf dem Dachboden nicht fehlen.

Reviewed By lotta100Nice environment, lovely park, clean and comfortable rooms, comfortable bed, great breakfast, historic! We spent two nigthts at the hotel, it's a good location for excursions on Rügen. We would love to come back.

Reviewed By MildaJoWir hatten mit Freunden das Silvesterarrangement, welches wir bereits am Anreisetag vorab bezahlen mussten (und welches von einigen Gästen am Abreisetag noch einmal eingefordert wurde...). Im Speisesaal fanden sich - im Gegensatz zu früheren Aufenthalten - keine weißen Tischdecken mehr, sondern mit braunem (Kunst)leder bezogene Tisch, welche ganz und gar nicht zum Interior passten. Das Gedeck zum Abendessen war nicht vollständig. Der zum Frühstück angebotene Kaffee verdiente leider nicht seinen Namen - geruchs- und geschmacklos, gegen ein zusätzliches Entgelt wurde Kaffee aus dem Automaten angeboten. Vom Vorabend übrig gebliebenes Sushi fand sich am nächsten Morgen auf dem Frühstücksbuffet, welches ansonsten ausreichend und abwechslungsreich war. Wir waren als ehemalige Stammgäste sehr enttäuscht.

Reviewed By HwvkDie intensive Führung durch die Sonderausstellung und die Dauerausstellung Herrn Dr. Richter war wunderbar. Die Kinder hörten gebannt zu und stellten viele Fragen. Die Tiefe der dargestellten Zusammenhänge, der besondere Ort eines privaten Museums, das Engagement von Herrn Richter, die Bilderhängung - alles war beeindruckend.
