Nice location, friendly staff but when it comes to food... it is a unique experience. Pity could not try all the dishes at one go. It's a must for food lovers to visit.

Luckily we found D'Bar on day two and booked up for most of the holiday (they are busy!) - the food is very high quality as is the wine selection and price wise we were very pleased - four adults typically coming in at around â¬28 per head - friendly staff, five star restaurant easily!

We ordered as a starter the formaggio gozitano and it was a fenomenal experience. Then, we ate the seafood and gozitano pizza and they both were great. The seafood is really well served. Even though we had to wait a bit longer we were expecting (because it is a very frequented spot), the food has supperated everything. Have a good meal. :)

It's by the sea and it's very nice â¥ï¸ the menu have various dishes for everybody's likings the stuff is great they will help you out for sure! I was not comfortable with people smoking around me so they offered us a better table thank you Dear Ms Muscat, Thank you for your comments and we are glad that you were pleased with the food on offer.We are passionate about service and quality for food. We visited this restaurant twice during our weekâs stay as we loved it so much. The food was fresh, delicious and beautifully presented. The owner and staff are very attentive and canât do enough to help you. To top it off the view from the restaurant is stunning. I would advise booking as it is very popular.

I had high expectations when I read the reviews on TripAdvisor, but I regret spending a cent at that restaurant. Firstly, I ordered calamari fritti as a starter, but our main course arrived before the starters! Outrageous! Secondly, I had to eat a well done rib-eye steak (which I ordered medium rare). Not to mention the flat soft drinks we ordered. Thirdly, in the restaurant it was extremely hot (do not think they actually turn on the ac). I am very disappointed in terms of both food and service. I was planning on organizing a staff party in December but I will definitely not go there again.

The staff was very nice and funny. The waiter explained the available dishes in detail. The service was like in a sophisticated restaurant. The truffle ravioli, a dish of the day, tasted really awesome! The restaurant is near the Gozo harbour with a nice view - but only from inside.

We had two excellent meals here and in May and decided we must go back, so here we are.Very busy Restaurant on the Square in Xaghra.Shown our booked table immediately on arrival . Menus and wine list presented quickly. Ordered aâ specialâ pork belly with crispy skin and sea bass stuffed with prawns. As a surprise we were given a small cup,of onion and potato soup, and accessories while waiting for main. Sea bass was excellent as was the pork belly that I had. Itâs unusual these days for it to be served with crackling skin. Good vegetables including roast potatoes. Good wine list to choose from including local beers and local wine.Excellent sweet menu. Staff and management very attentive throughout. Once again I must add that you must book in advance at these top rated Restaurants. People do get turned away.Would thoroughly recommend this Restaurant. Not expensive for the quality of food served.Ps. We have already booked to return this week

We stayed in the hotel San Andrea which is linked to the restaurant. Food and service were good, varied menu. Would visit the restaurant again. However, bar opening times not as advertised.
