Waren bereits zweimal zum Essen im Hotels Hannover und können als Ergebnis nur feststellen, dass das Essen uns sehr gut geschmeckt hat. Besonders zu empfehlen ist der Salatteller und auch das Currygeschnetzelte. Da gibt es nichts zu meckern. Von Fleisch bis Fisch, ist für jeden Appetit etwas dabei. Durch die ideale Lage ist das Bistro auch nur für eine Tasse Kaffee mit täglich frischgebackenen Kuchen zu empfehlen. Für uns eine sehr gute Küche für ein Bistro mit super Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis. Auch die einzigartige Panoramalage des Hotels Hannover, direkt am Kurpark und doch mitten in der Stadt ist eine Empfehlung wert. Bei der Bedienung könnte aus unserer Sicht in Sachen Kundenorientierung noch eine Optimierung stattfinden.

Wir sind spontan nach dem Möbelkauf in die Kotelett-Schmiede eingekehrt. Das Ambiente ist eigentlich sehr ansprechend, bei schönem Wetter lockt die groÃe Terrasse. Die Gerichte waren recht preiswert, geschmacklich gab es bei allen 4 Essen nichts zu beanstanden. Ich war angenehm überrascht. Service war flink, die Räumlichkeiten sauber.

Wir waren am 01. Mai mit 6 Personen (4 Erwachsene 2 Kinder) nachmittags zum Kaffee trinken hier. Die Einrichtung scheint schon einige Jahrzehnte alt zu sein, was ja erst einmal noch nicht schlimm ist. Leider empfanden wir das Ambiente aber als sehr ungemütlich und haben uns nicht sehr wohl gefühlt. Ich hatte einen Frankfurter Kranz, der mindestens vom Vortag war, wahrscheinlich älter, auf jeden Fall sehr, sehr trocken und auch geschmacklich eher geschmacklos. Dazu hatte ich einen Irish Coffee. Dieser kam schon mal ohne Sahnehaube, für mich ein no-go, und sowohl der Kaffee wie auch der Whiskey schmeckten mir überhaupt nicht. Dieses war mit Abstand der schlechteste Irish Coffee, den ich je getrunken habe. Insgesamt ist das Café nicht empfehlenswert.

Pleasant hotel/restaurant at the edge of town, off the main tourist track. Quite a limited, but authentic German, lunch menu but the chef was more than willing to accommodate the special wishes of one member of our party. We arrived at just after 12 noon (having reserved a table) and had the dining room to ourselves. By 12.30 all the tables were occupied - and by local folk, not tourists. Recommended.

Nice setting in different theme parts of the restaurants belonging to the Schmiedegasthof Hotel.We had a function there with friends and the beef roast included in the dinner was one of the best I had for a long time.Soft, tender, juicy and excellent taste.Exellent, thank you for the great rating.

We strained their patience with a late arrival, but that did not affect the quality of the food or the friendliness of the service. We ate here twice and enjoyed perfectly prepared authentic dishes at reasonable prices.

We ate at this restaurant on our way from The Netherlands to Berlin. It is a typical German restaurant. Simple, non-luxury but friendly staff and good German food. Location is near the highway so ten times better than eating at a Raststätte. We had lunch but I know that the kitchen closes at 8 PM in the evening.

We met family here who'd previously eaten at this restaurant. The location is perfect for walkers, or people who prefer countryside to town. The venue is an attractive building, with glorious outside seating areas, which wouldn't look out of place in the Austrian Alps. The women serving were all dressed in Dirndls. The food was brilliant, as was the service and friendliness of staff.

Had a very nice lunch here, with my wife and her aunt. Very good, solid German fare and friendly, helpful staff. We were there in May, which is Spargel (asparagus) season. There were 20 ways to eat a pound of asparagus. Good meats and beer. Would definitely recommend if you're looking for a great local hangout without the pretension and prices of the upscale hotel restaurants.
