The former Hotel & Restaurant "Veltlin" is now run under the name "Weingut Neustifter". The location right on the golf course in the middle of the greens is very close to nature. In front of and behind the restaurant you will find several parking spaces, which are always busy at weekends. The building is built in a modern, traditional style, the restaurant is accessed via a staircase to the first floor, as the ground floor level is only accessible to hotel guests. The restaurant has several dining rooms of different sizes, the decor is light wood and well maintained. We had reserved and got a nicely decorated table. The service staff is friendly, but not necessarily obliging.We ordered Aperolspritz (very good), Frizzante and Apricot Juice, a soup plate with „Fritatten“ and liver dumplings, the soup tasted quite good but liver dumplings and Fritatten were not to emphasize the flavor quality positively. After the soup a mushroom Goulash and a Gnocchiteller was served, both dishes served nicely, but also the mushroom goulash with napkin dumplings taste not really convincing, since the mushroom taste did not come into its own. The gnocchi cooked well, the sauce was OK, the portion size in both dishes was ok. The good location on the golf course I would have expected a much better quality, as golfers appreciate a good kitchen. Hier bekommt man noch gute, deftige Hausmannskost zu vernünftigen Preisen. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Das Gasthaus bietet neben dem Gastraum eine Terrasse und einen Biergarten.

The food was below the quality we are used to get in Austria, the service was not very friendly, so next time we will stop somewhere else.
