Limerick Hotels | Places to Stay in Limerick

There once was an Irish city… You might think "naughty poem" when you hear the word Limerick, but in truth the city inspires so much more than just knowing giggles. Medieval castles and churches give the city a grand feel, while the pubs crawl with lively locals and students who are all craving just one more pint of Guinness. The Hunt Museum boasts a collection of pieces from history's most important and influential artists, while the Foynes Flying Boat Museum will marvel visitors of all ages with its whimsical flying machines.

Nice Hotel in Good Location

We stayed here in May 2022 in room 214. Front desk was very friendly and recommended an excellent restaurant for dinner (The SpitJack). Parking is free and there is a parking garage which would have required 3 left turns to loop back into from the drop off zone, so I opted to park in their free outdoor lot across the street. The view from room 214 is a street and traffic, plus a streetlight which allows light into the room at night through the closed drapes. The bathroom has a frosted glass door which also lights up the sleeping area every time someone used the bathroom at night. The room is big and has a queen-sized bed which was lower height than I am used to. Breakfast was very good with hot items plus a buffet.

It was good. Bed was comfortable. We walked to nearby pubs/restaurants. The bar in the hotel was nice. The executive lounge was a nice perk;you could get a soda, water or coffee. The coffee was delicious. We didn’t have breakfast or dinner so I can’t comment on the food.

Overall good value. Friendly, helpful staff. Good pool and leisure facilities. Food was really good on day 1 and ok on day 2 but only 1 veggie choice. Not a bad location but a 10 min walk into the centre which we didn’t mind. Room was clean and the view over the river from the 9th floor was fantastic.

I chose No.1 Pery Square because it was near The People's Park and I needed to stay in Limerick for three days. What a lucky choice! My room was very comfortable and quiet with a lovely bathtub, separate shower and plenty of space to put toiletries. The bed was very comfortable, the windows opened enough to let in fresh air, the street outside was quiet. The staff were universally pleasant and helpful. There are a number of different spaces for eating, drinking, and lounging, including a sweet little garden on two levels. Some of the rooms retain their 19th century features and others are modernized, but all are beautifully furnished and painted in interesting subtle colors. The food is excellent and nicely served. No.1 Pery Square was the loveliest hotel I have ever stayed in. It is also conveniently close to the bus and train station and only a short bus trip to Shannon Airport.

This made our stay very enjoyable - all rooms were clean and ready for us upon arrival. They had a secure location for storing our bikes overnight. The food for dinner and breakfast was very high quality and portion sizes were big. The whole experience was great and brilliant value for money.

Great location, beautiful room, and the staff were so quick and helpful. Breakfast each morning was good and extremely helpful. This is a wonderful location with very few drawbacks. The only issue we had was that the AC was difficult to navigate in the room, and the AC unit was outside of the room with the bed, which made it hard to balance during the night. But the window opened, which helped a lot. We would absolutely visit this hotel again!

Offered to pay our 32euros canteen style dinner meal, leaving out 5 euros drink component presented to us on departure. Room smelled of "drain" & cleaner attempt to fix, but continued.
