The head of family named Johnny was a guide in Lagodekhi Managed Reserve and he got a lot of stories and advices for you. His wife Maka is very kind and helpful. There is a beautiful garden full of tasty fruits :) Johnny speaks fluent english and even understand Polish :) the room is ready for a winter - they have good heating system. In holl and room they are very stylish firniture (detalis... :)). Full recommended!

Reviewed By 81juliustNice food, really friendly staff, good prices. They speak really good English. We really enjoyed our dinner. Thank you! The location is super clean and in a nice forest. From here you can start beautiful hikes through the national park.

Favorite place in Georgia
Reviewed By KatieLeigh123I would return to this place if I ever come back and will recommend it to friends. This was my absolute favorite place in Georgia. The dinner was amazingly delicious and the breakfast was tasty. The room was cool and the bed was comfy. I appreciated having the chance to do a little laundry. I hung them up late at night and they were dry the next morning because it is so breezy and cool there. It is walking distance from the Lagodekhi national park. We had a wonderful day hiking in the park. If I ever come back to this region, I am staying here again. It was truly my favorite place in all of Georgia,

Reviewed By Ana BThe kiwi House is the best guest house I've ever been in Georgia. The House is really beautiful, cozy and Marika is very friendly and always willing to help. Moreover she knows enough english to have a pleasant conversation or to teach you some georgian words. In sum, I totally recommend It. You Will not be disapointed.

Die Zimmer sind gehobener Standard, es gibt eine reichhaltige und sehr gute Speisekarte, und man kann im Garten neben dem Pool speisen, gesäumt von Bananenstauden und einer üppigen Blumenpracht. Auch für Familien geeignet.

Best place in Georgia
Reviewed By DesertDweller67I feel compelled to write this review as after two months travelling throughout Georgia this was the best place I stayed. The place was so clean and well cared for and the outdoor spaces allowed people to relax communally or in private. Marina was so hospitable and provided the best food of any of our guesthouses stays. (In total we stayed in 43 different places) Whilst she may not speak much English this isn't a problem as her son and husband were both able to assist us with our plans. We really hoped to return but ran out of time but it is certainly worth a trip to Lagadeki to hike in the National Park and enjoy the warmth of genuine Georgian hospitality at this property.

Great room, most likeable hosts, superb food!!
Reviewed By InaHellgirlWe stayed at the Guesthouse Old Wall for three nights to hike in Lagodekhi National Park, and we just loved it. The guesthouse is located in a quiet street, with a beautiful inner courtyard, a very nice and well equipped room and an own bathroom, all of it being very clean! The hosts Paolo and Marina (and their sons) are super friendly, funny and helpful and made us feel at home. They serve you great breakfast and dinner (e.g. pork barbeque, fish barbeque, khinkali), always fresh, homemade and delicious. Plus, you have the opportunity to taste great homemade wine (which actually was the best one we had in three weeks of traveling in Georgia). Also, Paolo offered us rides to the national park every day and also picked us up in the late afternoon when we finished hiking. In the evening, he joined us guests for dinner and we just had a great time. I highly recommend this place: great atmosphere, very likeable hosts, super cute and well-bred family pets, delicious breakfast and dinner! We would definitely come back to the guesthouse again, thanks for a great stay!
