This restaurant was absolutely perfect. Make sure to call ahead and reserve as this is a very small establishment with many locals eating lunch at the counter while the tables at the back are reserved. Nino welcomes you in a very personal and warm manner. We had a lunch special cold pasta with vegetables from Ninoâs garden and a pasta with mozzarella and tomato (all fresh). Nino presentes us with a personal gift that included our name written in Kanji in a cardboard.If you are in Nara, please donât miss this jewel. The food is first class but the service and personal attention is what moved me.Miguel L.

We had lunch at Citta on a Thursday afternoon we had taken the precaution of booking fortunately as the restaurant was full we both had prawns to start followed by pasta everything was superb we will go again
