Kenilworth (/ˈkɛnɪlwərθ/ KEN-il-wərth) is a town and civil parish in Warwickshire, England, about 6 miles (10 km) south-west of the centre of Coventry, 5 miles (8 km) north of Warwick and 90 miles (140 km) north-west of London. The town is on Finham Brook, a tributary of the River Sowe, which joins the River Avon about 2 miles (3 km) north-east of the town centre. The 2011 Census recorded a parish population of 22,413. Kenilworth is noted for the extensive ruins of Kenilworth Castle. Other sights include the ruins of Kenilworth Abbey in Abbey Fields park, St Nicholas' Parish Church and Kenilworth Clock.

We have eaten here in the past and found the service and food generally very good and consistent. Today however was simply wonderful and without question was at another level.
From the start to finish the food was surprising and delicious. The staff were exceptional and made my wife’s birthday a real event to remember. I cant praise the staff enough on today’s performance.
How do we persuade Monsieur Marcon to remain in the UK with Adam Bennett? We can’t wait for the next collaboration.

Harringtons on the Hill is a charming and rustic restaurant set in Little Virgina of Kenilworth, Warwickhire almost opposite the castle. The service is informal, friendly and efficient complimenting the delicious locally sourced (wherever possible), fresh ingredients dishes that are lovingly prepared by the kitchen team. There is a private dining room available upstairs that seats up to 30 people which makes Harringtons suitable for any occasion. Great food served well for good value.

The staff are so friendly and helpful, just before Christmas I had to change a pre ordered group meal due to ill health but at the last minute had to cancel my meal.
We returned in February and they were most helpful in choosing a fat free meal, sauces were served separately so that I could have a tiny taste without coursing any problems.

We visited as a group of friends for a leisurely catch-up. The lunch menu is entirely adequate, at a reasonable price. All items ordered were all enjoyed. A small substitute of meal elements was managed nicely, without fuss. Very slow service, arrived at one and left around four. Waited ages for first drink. Two starters were served to the table of 4 but after a few minutes they were taken away to another table as they weren’t ours, luckily for them we hadn’t started. Three people ordered potato dauphinoise but they were undercooked and cold. Were offered to have them replaced but we had already waited ages and the fish which was very nice may have come back in a poorer state? The spinach serving was tiny. The chocolate brownie was dry, not enough ice cream on the side as it had melted and the creams brûlée was watery. We ordered coffee which in the end they gave to us for free because of the potato problem. The best thing about the meal was the young man who was our waiter, he was very polite and apologetic about the situation.
We won’t be returning

From the bar, a selective international wine list complements the delicate, fragrant flavours of the dishes. A contemporary, clean-cut dining room features an expansive beach mural and the staff provide traditionally excellent Thai service with a smile.

Recommended by a fried. Ordered a few dishes to sample for take away. Tom Kha soup, spicy beef salad, and Pad Thai chicken.
First the salad. Excellent flavour and veggies BUT the beef slices were, uh fifty shades of grey! Not just the colour but the texture and flavour was of questionable quality. Will try to attach photo.
On to the Tom Kha soup. A real favourite of mine — but not here! What I like about this not so popular soup is normally the flavour, usually including lime, and creamy coconut. What I got was watery flavourless soup with hardly any coconut milk. You may see in photo a mere smudge in the corner of the container of some coconut. I gave up.
On to the Pad Thai, the ultimate Thai staple? A sparse tiny chunk of a lemon — no worries I had lime juice at home. Flavour just okay but then, the chicken! Man this was dead dry flaking in my mouth like sawdust.
Done in one with this Thai restaurant. The quality of the meat was poor. I would recommend going vegetable option here (coming from a carnivore like me) if you try it. Stay away from the Tom Kha soup.

Visited with a small group for Sunday lunch. The restaurant was very busy but service was prompt and the choice of food excellent. Both the Sunday menus and the main menu were available. Sunday Roast was excellent value. The house wines good and reasonably priced. Family's with children tend to be seated upstairs.The ground floor is a quieter location. Public parking next door

We were a bit apprehensive when we booked this restaurant. Recent reviews were mixed.
Glad to say we were NOT disappointed.
We must say the service was excellent throughout the evening. The waiter even joined in on taking pictures for us - he was just so funny.
We ordered starters and mains. The scallops for starters are just delicious - not to be missed. The portions overall were very generous and the meal was very reasonably priced.
This is a lovely restaurant nicely decorated. It’s one to try definitely whether you want a spot of lunch or dine out in the evening, you won’t be disappointed.
