Boogie Woogie

We serve freshly made good contemporary food, using local products. As well as our Coffee Shop, we have a Gift section and upstairs a Clothes and Accessories shop. Easy to park outside. Busy during holidays with locals and tourists alike. Not open in evenings.

Fab wee place for a cuppa and cake, equally delicious fresh menu for lunch everyday. Great selection and friendly staff, have never been disappointed with the food. Was heading home to Inverness later than expected and decided some fish and chips were in order. Time and time again, I'm disappointed with battered sausages being cheap disgusting meat, but this one was good. Will pop by again if passing and hungry, thanks

a change from the other Indian in Keith for us, we choice the set meal for two as we have found the other Indian Restaurant in Keith is beginning to get a little bit pricey and the portions seem to have less meat in them.
the salad was good, along with Bombay aloo, chutneys, Pakoras and tikka chicken. two curries, rice and a garlic nan. there was loads of food for the money, although perhaps not as flavoursome as the other Indian.
they have a sit down next restaurant nextdoor which is always good, although often quiet..

Forbes Arms Hotel

A big shout for this reliable country hotel who have a straightforward Scottish menu which is excellently cooked. The bar dining room is relatively small but warm and welcoming and the owner is always very chatty and pleasant. In the summer it is a lovely spot with the River Deveron literally at the bottom of the hotel's garden.
Well worth a trip......you won't be disappointed.

Attended a wedding at the Royal hotel and booked a room as saved driving home, was not disappointed.
Everything from checking in right through to breakfast and checking out the next morning was faultless.
The rooms are lovely and really big compared to what we were expecting, the bed was massive and so comfy, breakfast was nice quick and piping hot. Function room is a good size and the bar staff were superb and didn't have to wait long to be served despite the small space they had to work in.
Would def return and highly recommend :)

The Deli Shop

Reviewed By Kevin C - Naperville, Illinois

The Deli Shop is an absolute boon to Keith, and stocks an astonishing range of goods. There's every kind of dried spice, teas, coffees, all sorts of "broken biscuits" at prices that make the big shops blush. The deli counter can make you a Sandwich, supply great cheese or offer a selection of pies and cold meats.
The town would be a poorer place without The Deli Shop.

The Brasserie

Reviewed By CHUNKYJACOBITE - Keith, United Kingdom

Firstly we were here in June last year and the service was severely lacking, as the place had only recently opened I put it down to start up teething issues and the staff hadn't been coached..
Today we arrived at 4-30 pm for a family get together, 8 adults and two children. The place was empty on arrival and felt quite cold, a few of our party sat with their jackets on.
We had to ask for kids menus as it didn't seem to click with he staff that the two small boys were kids!
There was a mothers day set menu on offer, but that soon became a bit of a joke ( not a funny one either ). The brisket was finished, the surf and turf offered in the main menu was also off the board. I tried to order the prawns on the set menu, but surprise , surprise they were now finished too. At this point If it weren't for the others being there i would have left. I mean we were the first ones there for the evening session on what should be one of the busiest days on any restaurants calendar. I have no idea what the following customers were going to eat.. bad planning on the kitchens part.
We ordered drinks and were not offered water for the table, and as like our previous visit , We were at no point throughout the two and a half hour meal were we asked if we would like any more drinks, Anyone with any clue whatsoever knows that is where an establishment makes it money.
Eventually we all ordered food from a mix of the main menu and the mothers day menu.
It seemed to take quite a while for the starters to appear, and bearing in mind we were the only people there , they cant say they were rushed off their feet. The food that was provided was really well presented and a quite tasty, no complaints there.
Main coarse came out and again, all looked presentable and was quite ample in portion and very well cooked.
Sweets, After having to ask for the sweet menu, Alas we were back to the sorry we've ran out scenario again, one of our party had to return a sticky toffee pudding as it was like a brick they could even get the spoon into it.. there was a mix up on some of the other sweet selection and our table just for easiness took the wrong puddings.
All in all , the meal was a Shambles, the place had no atmosphere and as mentioned it was cold, the service was diabolical .
The waitress staff need to be trained in the basics of hospitality , Its the simple things that count knowing what the soup of the day is something you would think any waitress would know without having to go and check.
Quite possibly one of the worst dining experiences to hand. I nor any of our party are likely to return in the future.. It ruined what should have been a really nice evening out with family members, A real shame as its on our doorstep..

A delightful light and airy restaurant - nicely decorated and very comfortable. I had a steak Sandwich - delectable slices of thin cut steak with mushrooms, spinach and tomato on top of toasted bread with mustard Mayo - absolutely delicious! My husband had fish and chips with the freshest fish , gorgeous crispy batter and great chips! Excellent service and great value for money - what else could you ask for? Highly recommended!
