"Upscale Budget" Hotel in Gora
Reviewed By BrandrBExcellent stay in modern upscale budget hotel in the heart of Gora. Outsized value and incredible staff. Pros: - Modern, clean, "upscale budget" hotel property in the heart of Gora (1 min from Gora Station). Very impressed with the quality of rooms for the price. Booked a twin room with private bath- and thought it was clean, comfortable, and very spacious by Japanese Budget hotel standards. Loved the unexpected Malin+Goetz amenities in the bathrooms and onsen! - Onsen was perfect for a relaxing bath after a day of hiking around Hakone. Currently limited to 6 persons due to COVID-19, but that was not an issue for an after-dinner soak. - Fantastic staff - despite the language barrier everyone here was incredibly friendly and personable. - Restaurant- very nice and reasonably priced morning breakfast buffet and good cocktails in the evening. Very friendly bar staff. Cons: - Strict check-in time (as is common in Japan). Despite arriving at 2pm, was not permitted to check-in until 3pm. Front desk happily watched my bags while I explored Hakone Gora Park in the meantime. - Long checkout wait. Had to wait approximately 20 minutes to checkout at 10am due to limited front desk staffing. I'm looking forward to staying here again!

Great budget place!
Reviewed By rogueramblers12We stayed here for 4 nights whilst the rugby was on. Small room with traditional Japanese bedding with a fridge and TV in the room. Hot showers and a kitchen area with hot and cold water machine. Great place to come if your on a budget and only staying a few nights! Very clean and staff and super helpful :)

Reviewed By K8665ZMstevewAll that was available for the Rugby world cup. Would have been fine if we hadn't got locked down there during a typhoon. It was cheap for Yokohama. Room was completely empty apart from a roll out bed.

Reviewed By Mary C私たちは2015年に来ました。所有者はとても親切でした。私たちは将来確実に戻ってくるでしょう。さようなら。ホステルはとても清潔で、部屋はかなり広いです。夜はとても静かで、WIFI接続はかなり良いです。ホステルは自然に囲まれた鎌倉の美しい角にあります。ホステルからビーチまでは約5分です。砂浜はとても広大です。海鳥に気をつけろ, あなたが食べている間 食べ物を盗みます。ホステルの近くにはたくさんの美しい場所があります。有名な大仏もあります。

Reviewed By Tomo S子供たちが町内会やサッカー、学校行事などで利用する施設ですが、ファミリーや少人数のグループでも宿泊申し込みをすることができます。 ４回ほど利用いたしました。大人は１泊３０８円、シーツのクリーニング代、寝具利用料が４１０円、食事は別途。朝食は５００円くらい。夕食は８００円ほど。 一般の宿泊施設の感覚からすると格安ですが、ここは、サービス業というよりは、学校に泊まっている感じです。利用した部屋も各自で掃除もしなければいけませんし、寝具のたたみかたも細かい指定があります。ごはんも給食のような感じ。おかわりもできません。お部屋もだいたい２段ベット。冷房もありません。軍手やぞうきんなど、持参しなければならないものもあります。それに申し込みが割りと手間です。滞在中の行動計画表を提出しなければいけません。学校で作った、移動教室のしおり的なものを作って提出します。これを懐かしい感じと楽しめる人にはこんなにコストパフォーマンスの高い施設はありません。 お食事は・・なんというか、レトルトとか冷食を加工しているものなので、野外炊飯はとてもおすすめです。薪で燃える火でご飯を作るのは楽しいし、おいしい！シーカヤックや散策やビーチクリーンなど、いろいろなプログラムも企画されているのでこういうのもよいです。砂絵などのクラフトもお手頃価格で楽しめます。 家族４人で行っても、１泊２食で１万円でおつりがくるような感じなのはやっぱりありがたいですね。

旅する若者を意識した宿
Reviewed By Ｒ太郎横浜で仕事があり、寝るだけだったので、近辺のホステルと一泊ずつ利用してみた。こちらの方が、若い旅行者をターゲットに改装したようなつくりだった。カプセルと同程度の料金で、個室で、寝るだけなら十分。ただ、こちらの施設は部屋が低い階にあるため、抵抗を覚える人もいると思う。しかし、宿泊時は特に問題もなく、普通に寝ることができた（ただし、ドアが重く、開け閉めに力が必要で、音が大きいのは気になった）。あたたかい軽朝食がとれたことはよかった。

Good location
Reviewed By Camper265165International youth hostels are well signed with directions, this one is not.....different name to website. Unfortunately the 3 kids and I walked past it. Rang the hostel if they could help but couldn’t.....still getting lost then the staff rocked up and we got a lift. Phew!! Deceiving from IYH website Most expensive since we started travelling 10 days prior. It’s small and has hmm a curry smell. But....the staff are lovely, it’s very clean and has an private onsen. Convenient to Lake Ashi Left my medications in the fridge and they sent them through the next day. It is the cheapest in the area but I’m not a fan of the futons.
