Book a table at the front for 8ish the view across the bay is excellent and as dusk falls the lights reach across the water which is often almost waveless gently lapping against the shore. The time to think about all those 'when I get back home resolutions'. We have been coming here for many years the staff are brilliant and the food never disappoints. If you like soft fruity wine try the house white we did - regularly. If you have never been to Kalami try this one first you will not be disappointed

The former home of Laurence and Nancy Durrell, in fact the place where he wrote Prosperos Cell, the White House is about a 45 minute drive from Corfu town. The setting is idyllic and the Durrell connection of course adds an extra dimension to the whole experience. With an extensive menu of Mediterranean delights, lunch at the White House is an experience not to be missed on any visit to Corfu.

We were recommended this place by someone, particularly as we love eating Greek gyros and hadn't come across any as yet, but our excitement very quickly turned to disappointment at the low standard of cuisine!
On a plus side the staff were lovely and the kids loved the pool and fizzy drinks. But sadly the food was really poor - unconvincing gyros made with dry chicken, definitely not accompanied with homemade chips.
As for the cocktails - we ordered a couple of Margaritas and they were so bad we had to leave them mostly untouched...not only this, the cocktails came to a steep £16!!! You would quite happily pay this kind of money in a fancy cocktail bar made with fresh ingredients but quite frankly they tasted of a mix of dodgy lime cordial and dishwater!
If you are a food lover, visit this pool bar and have a few fizzy pops and enjoy the pool, but steer clear of the food and cocktails here! On the other hand if you like McDonalds then you'll probably be ok with the food on offer.
Sadly, despite the positives we won't be visiting again.

We have eaten at thomas's a number of times over the years and have been disappointed mainly with chaotic and slow service. However this year it has improved massively. The front of house team led by the unflappable antonia were all friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about the menu. Antonia is a real star and her dad needs to ensure she stays in the family business.
The food was amazing. Really enjoyed the bourdeto which was spicy and tasty, the kleftico which had a nice amount of veg in it with good quality lamb. Lamb chops cooked really well and a chicken dish with ham and cheese was different and lovely. The cheese pie starter is out of this world.
Food has really gone up a notch this year. Main portion sizes were just right so you could enjoy a starter and dessert too.
We ate here twice in one week and wish it had been more.

Very friendly service from the owners and staff. Great views over the Kalami bay from tables on the balcony. On a busy-ish road, but the restaurant will pick you up and return you free of charge, so you don't have to worry about walking along the road at night. Starters: courgette fritters (good) & fried cheese (ok). Mains: grilled tiger prawns (very good) & linguine with mussels & clams (so-so). Home made cakes with ice cream at the end were also good. Overall the hosts made this an enjoyable visit, but I wouldn't rush back for the food.

Kind service, perfect location, great cocktails and ice-creams; a good way to start a holiday in Corfu! The Limani (=harbour) bar offers also proper food, I understand, but we went there just for an afternoon drink. We'll have to return to taste a full meal!

Stopped here for dinner one evening and was very pleasantly surprised by the excellent food and service.
The burgers are very well priced, yet look and taste amazing. I'd probably describe the burgers as a gourmet offering dressed with quality sauces and accompanyments.
Service was excellent too, and the house white wine was very quaffable!
We will be back!
