Kalami Beach

We were attracted to this beach due to the Durrells white house being located at the far end of the beach. The beach itself is pebbles but is backed up with some eating places where you can sit and take in the view. We were disappointed that the white house was not the family one shown on the TV series but one of the sons lived there there for a time which we thought was a bit of a take on.

Sakis Water Sports

We have been waterskiing and wake boarding in many places. This is one of the best. Louise gave great instruction (trained in the UK) and was very flexible. Great equipment. Also had fun on the inflatable sofa. To get the best time slot (early morning) book in advance.

We love visiting this beach whilst in Corfu. Full of Greek families enjoying the weekend, fresh fruit being sold from a grocery can and a lovely taverna. Well worth a visit.

Blue Bay Boats

Reviewed By SomersetWillow - Somerset

We hired a motor boat and at the time of booking was told that full training and safety brief would be given. This proved not to be the case. On the day, I was asked if I had used a boat before. I answered that I had once, a long time ago.
The chap showed me how it went forward and back and also, how to lower and raise the engine into and out of the water. When asked what various buttons on the dashboard were he replied "you don't need to bother with them". The boat did not have a radio to contact him if needed and it wasn't until he had left that we found the life jackets and buoy hidden under the front seat in a compartment which was half under water.
To be fair, the boat appeared to be well maintained, but on my one previous experience of hiring a boat (in Cyprus ) the vendor gave full training, including how to use the radio and the vendor had a number of jet ski's to come to the aid of customers. Blue Bay boats could benefit from such ideas to be just that bit safer.
