Rustic, but friendly, comfortable, and with great views.
Reviewed By PeterOnTheRoadI stayed in one of the cottages rather than the dorm, though people staying in the dorm assured me it was quite comfortable, too. The cottages have one wall entirely glass, looking out over the steppe--from the room you see nothing but grass, hills, and livestock (some up surprisingly close as they return and go out to pasture). Rooms are basic but quite comfortable--heat and hot water aplenty on a cold night. A short walk to the main building for check-in, dinner, and comaraderie. Staff was very helpful with advice on getting around. There's one big communal dinner table with great food and friendly conversation. My stay here was one of the highlights of a long vacation.

There's a cute yard where you can have breakfast or whatever while the 2 friendly and playful dogs run around, or go inside with one word from Tamari, the owner. Her smile is sweet, warm, welcoming and real. It was a really pleasant experience.

Mini-hotel with B&B service and restaurant of local cuisine above the Signagi. Around the hotel building there is a open air terrace with the view at all the city, Alazani valley and Caucasus mountains on the horizon. Barbecue and Hookah is on service every day in the summer season. Wine cellar is also available for guests, degustation will be provided by hosts and anyone can buy local wine, made with old Kakhetian tradition method.

Reviewed By Szymek HOn the way from Bodbe, attracted by the stunning view we stepped in to this place. Placed the order, highlighting that we would like to get half portion of sulguni cheese and half portion of imeruli cheese. In total we received 4 pcs of cheese and were asked to pay 12 where one portion of cheese costs 6 lari. When asked waitress about the number o pcs in one portion we got the answer that one portion contains 4 pcs. Further we asked, why in that case they charged us double, she changed her mind and told us that one portion contains only 2 pcs. Out of three waiting staff only one spoke Russian and none of them even basic English Stay way, don't allow to rip you off.

Best place in Georgia
Reviewed By DesertDweller67I feel compelled to write this review as after two months travelling throughout Georgia this was the best place I stayed. The place was so clean and well cared for and the outdoor spaces allowed people to relax communally or in private. Marina was so hospitable and provided the best food of any of our guesthouses stays. (In total we stayed in 43 different places) Whilst she may not speak much English this isn't a problem as her son and husband were both able to assist us with our plans. We really hoped to return but ran out of time but it is certainly worth a trip to Lagadeki to hike in the National Park and enjoy the warmth of genuine Georgian hospitality at this property.

Reviewed By RDinjensVery nice and friendly place, well located, good breakfast en very comfy beds. All very clean. Definitly worth the stay in Telavi. Parking space within the compound, max. 2 cars. Price versus quality is very good.

Reviewed By Daniel WThe family is very hospitable. The location is a bit hard to find, but our taxi driver called and we were instantly picked up and directed to their house. Our room had the most beautiful view over the steppe. We had a wonderful lunch with veggies from their own garden. Tina is a great cook. Afterwards Kitesa brought us to Davit Gareja by car. I wouldn't recommend walking there from Udabno. After the Davit Gareja walk we enjoyed the views, a hot shower, and a lovely dinner. Soon after we were off sleeping as you only hear birds and other animals. The only place in Georgia were I slept 12 ours in a row. The best bed.

Alvani Inn is a guesthouse located in Kvemo Alvani, Akhmeta Municipality, Georgia. It is on the way to Tusheti National Park, which is an extremely popular sightseeing destination among travelers. Alvani Inn itself is located at the feet of amazing Caucasus, with scenic nature, rich culture and lots of vineyards. Imagine, having fresh, traditional dinner, with homemade wine and the views of dazzling nature, especially after a long day. Well, this is not the only thing that we can offer. Our great grandfather’s saying became our recipe and we say: “when a guest comes, sun starts shining and when the guest leaves, clouds start appearing.” Having said that, we do our best you to feel like home and get most out of it. Here, you have a big yard, with hammocks, benches, chill music, friendly staff, drinks, parties, just name it!

Reviewed By shuvalov2015Хороший отель. Лучше брать двухместные номера. Очень тихо ночью, утром птицы просто заливаются. Уютный двор. Гостепримная хозяйка. Отличные завтраки, не отказывайтесь. Кормят на убой. Каша, картофель, ячница, салат, мацони... Ммм... ?.

Don't know about staying for night, but not for eating exactly
Reviewed By YuliaSakartveloTourWe wanted just to have lunch on our way to Tbilisi. Service was poor, kebab and meat was not eatable. The meat was not not well fried. Only khachapuri was really tasty. Even no menu and no total bill.
