Reviewed By Yoshi_Hj(English follows) 家族と日本を離れる友人カップルと行った初の屋久島の旅でした。 正直、もののけ姫を再度見て、あとは少しだけハイキングコースを見てたくらいであまり調べもせずノリで屋久島へ行きましたが、ここの宿のオーナー様のおかげで(相当導いていただきました！)、最初から最後までフルコースで忘れられない旅となりました。 宿の素晴らしさは写真のイメージ通りですが、オーナー様のフレンドリーさと人としての素晴らしさ(連れの女性陣からも可愛いいと評判でした！)によって、パーフェクトな屋久島体験となりました。 朝食で出していただいた野菜の美味しいこと！宿で飼われているめんどり2羽から頂く卵や自家製パンも美味しく、大満足でした。 海中温泉も宿からすぐで星空を眺め波の音ともに入った真夜中のザ天然温泉は別世界でしたし、オーナー様激オススメの尾之間温泉も宿から車ですぐで、ここも熱々でしたがお湯の素晴らしさと歴史ある銭湯の様な雰囲気は格別でしたので、この宿に泊ったら是非行ってみてください。 宿泊者が自由に使えるリビングスペースがまた最高で、今回はお会いできませんでしたが、オーナー様の旦那様が発行されているSaunterというMgazineから、音楽、旅、写真、様々なアート、食などの本が沢山置いてあり(趣味がまた自分とかなりクロスしていたし)、雨降りの時間等はここでのんびり楽しめます。 リゾートホテルとかにも泊まることはありますが、そう言った類にはない、ここには書ききれない良さがこの宿には詰まっています。是非、ご自身で体験して頂くことをオススメします。屋久島の様な場所を楽しむには最高だと思います。私もきっと再び訪れることだろうと思います。 It was my first trip to Yakushima with my family and a friend couple who leaving Japan soon. I went to Yakushima with very little prep (we watched "Princess Mononoke" again and read about some hiking trails, that's about it...) but thanks to the owner of this hotel (she guided us and showed us a lot!), it became an unforgettable trip for us. The hotel is minimum and only has two guess rooms and shared living room but beautiful just like the image in the photos, but thing we enjoyed most there was the friendliness and welcoming energy of the owner. her great personality made our island experience very special. Breakfast they served was great too. The home-grown organic vegetables were sweat and delicious! Eggs from 2 hens they have there and homemade bread were delicious too. There were awesome Onsens (hot springs) near the hotel (5mins by car). The mid-night hot spring experience under the stars and with sound of waves sent us to another world, and the other one the owner of the hotel highly recommended, Onoaida Onsen was very special too! Although the water is quite hot, it was very good onsen water you can enjoy in the historical and nostalgic atmosphere. The living space that guests can use freely was also great spot at the hotel. There were many books such as music, travel, photos, all other kind of art and food, including the magazines called "Saunter" which were issued by the owner's husband, and this is fantastic space to relax and spend time on a rainy day. Big resort hotels may be great too, but you experience another level of happiness which is perfect especially for your Yakushima island trip at this hotel. I cannot describe all we had there, so I recommend you to try it yourself by visiting the island and staying with the,! I'm sure that we will visit there again.

Reviewed By tabibitoppp清潔で快適なホステルでコストパフォーマンスがとても良かったです。 無料駐車場、洗濯機利用可能。 浴槽無しの共有シャワーのみですが、近くに温泉があります。タオル貸出もありました（歯ブラシは持参要）。オーナーの方も親切でした。また利用したい。

Reviewed By KimonoChronikenDas Appartement bietet einen Blick auf den Vulkan Sakurajima direkt gegenüber, der fröhlich vor sich hin raucht. Die Vermieterin ist unheimlich nett, das Appartement ist sauber und verfügt über eine kleine Küche sowie einen Balkon. Es gibt zudem einen Fahrstuhl im Haus. Gratis WLAN ist ebenfalls inklusive. Zu Fuß ist man in wenigen Minuten im Hafen, an der Fähre zur Vulkaninsel und beim Aquarium. Vom Bahnhof aus sind es wenige Haltestellen mit der Straßenbahn zum Appartement. Ich würde es jederzeit wieder buchen!

深夜にムカデにかま.れ、医者へ。しかし謝罪なし、宿代全額払わされた
Reviewed By snafkin2014深夜３時に自分の部屋で体長１５センチのムカデにかまれました。アナフラキシーショックを起こし、医者に行きました（救急車を呼んでくれず、医者がオープンするまでムカデのいる部屋で待たされた）。頭痛・血圧上昇・吐き気・胃の痛みなどが４日間続きました。宿オーナーは医者への送迎と、診療費は払ってくれましたが、あとは自己責任という姿勢で、宿代満額を払わされ、まだふらふらしているのに１０時にチェックアウト時間どおりに追い出されました（まだムカデがいる部屋でずっと寝かされた。チェックアウト時に毛布をまくると、やはりムカデがいました）。しかも謝罪もなし（「最初にすみませんと１回言った」とのこと）。後の予定をキャンセルしたり、次の宿で事情を話して早めに寝込んだり、胃痛のため食事はおかゆやヨーグルト、果物ばかりで、やつれました。楽しいはずの旅行がつらくて苦しいものになってしまいました。１週間たっても、かゆみと軽い痛みがあります。誠意のない対応といい、部屋の中で被害にあったのだから、宿の管理責任があると考えます。慰謝料を求めるため、弁護士と相談中。

Jeffrey is an outstanding asset to the property and was very helpful with local information and sorting things out for us at the property. Our first room had a highly pungent odour in it that we had hoped would go away during the night but it didn't. The room was nice and we would have been very happy here but in the end we moved, both of our rooms, to the house. That was great. It was very nice of them to upgrade us to this large space. Was a very comfortable alternative for us two couples. Enjoyed the house a lot. The food was very good, especially the breakfasts. The setting was excellent. As others have mentioned it was like being in a forest retreat, yet minutes to town. The baths were also really good and enjoyed all of them. We had one dinner at the BBQ deck overlooking the river. That was really good. Simple meal but beautiful. Thanks Jeffrey for your service. The shuttle service was great and they picked us up exactly on time after visiting an izakaya in town. If coming back to Yakushima we would definitely consider staying at Yaedake Sanso. Good luck with your time there Jeffrey and we hope you have that immersive experience you're looking for.

Reviewed By Tourist46174584527ホームページのシングルルーム写真は、とても綺麗で普通に見えるが、実際の部屋は焼肉屋の裏の薄暗い所に建てられたプレハブ小屋である。風通しも悪い。 写真のような綺麗な部屋が実際にあるのかどうか怪しい。あったとしても1部屋だけではないかと疑ってしまう。 広さは普通のビズホ程度だが、窓が無いので、圧迫感、息苦しさを感じる。 シングルルーム1,980円を謳っているが、実際には2,980円である。 (ホームページ上には2,980円の記述もあるが、どのようなケースで2,980円となるのかは、一切不明。) 安いので、多少のことは受け入れられるが、ホームページの記述が嘘なのはやめてほしい。

Reviewed By kirikoku中々甑島では宿泊する所がなく、古民家を改装してあり良さそうでしたので予約しました。洋室を利用しましたが、部屋の目の前がリビングダイニング＆フリードリンク（焼酎・コーヒー等）コーナーで驚きでした。 翌日朝早い予定の私達でしたが、当日は小さな子供連れ家族が友達と２部屋宿泊しており、共同風呂やトイレの物音、夜中は2度の夜泣き、夜はずーと私達の部屋の前をドタドタと走り回り、大人達はアルコールを飲んで騒いで注意もしない。 宿には、テレビも無く寝ようと床についていた私達にはこの騒音が耐えられず、ドア開け目の前に居た親達に流石に声掛けしましたが、壁を取っ払いリビング目の前というこのような間取りの古民家では大人限定にするとか1棟貸しにする、フリードリンク提供時間は21時までとか決めて頂きたいです。 2食付きの夕食は甑島のお塩を使った料理がとても美味しく感動、朝食は近くの豆腐屋さんのザル豆腐や揚げ出し豆腐、干物でヘルシー料理で美味しかったです。 料理は美味しいですが、構造上ゆっくり静かに休みたい方には不向きかな。

Reviewed By A2404BNdavidhI recently stayed with my wife at the hostel The staff are fantastic but we found the facilities severely lacking. I booked a twin economy room. It had a hobbit style door to enter which was cute but the walls seperating us from other people were thin wood and did not go all the way to the roof. There was no common fridge or microwave to use which was disappointing. The futon was very thin on wooded like pallets which made it hard to get comfortable. We had an older gentleman next door to us and with thin walls and not going all the way to the roof did not stop the noise of his snoring all night. They also allow children and a young girl was initially very noisy but did settle so I feel be aware if you are light sleepers. Showers and toilets were very clean For a good nights sleep I do not recommend bexause of the above faults as we got very little sleep
