We often stop here on our way north from Stockholm to Härjedalen. The food is good and nicely presented, with some salad on the side and ... just nice.
The service is quick enough even for a somewhat unhurried meal stop on the way north. No, it's not McDonalds.
It is a relaxed place furnished with second hand furniture.

This place offers hot chocolate, warm cider, hot dogs and simple foods. Everything was delicious. It was cozy, easy access in the slope, warm next to fire place which also had sticks to hang your gloves, socks etc to dry while your eating. Nice relaxed...MoreThank you for your kind Words.

Nice American diner type decoration and food was quick but very, very average. Not bad at all but also not at all good. Go for it if in a hurry and want something to fill you up quickly but if have some more time I believe there are better options just next door.

I have had lunch at Järvsöbaden several times, never miss a chance when I am in Järvsö skiing or visiting the zoo. Very tasty and fresh food, decent choice of dishes and absolutely priceworthy. Plus lovely, old-fashioned interior, very friendly service.

We were recommended to try this restaurant for dinner, but ended up here for the lunch buffet after a visit at Järvzoo instead. I was an it hesitant to have a lunch buffet in a ski resort restaurant, but got happily surprised by the high quality of the food. Everything comes a cross as made from scratch, without any corners being cut anywhere. We ended up trying almost everything available.

Stor lokal som sväljer mycket folk. Vi besökte en afterski, lite för stimmigt och högljutt för min smak. Den starka musiken dränker hela lokalen, så det går inte att prata. Långa köer och det tog lång tid att beställa dricka.

Lokalen är inte så charmig, men det ligger precis intill genomfarten och har parkering intill. Fiket erbjuder det vanliga och priserna är rätt normala. Inget speciellt men helt ok och mackor för den som vill ha lite mer än en bulle. Är man hungrig bör man äta på systerstället runt hörnet.
