Bästa skidåkningen i Vemdalens skidområde utan tvekan.

Fallmoranfallet

Rekommenderas verkligen.

The Howling Dog Farm

We are offering sleddogtours through beautiful nature. Our tours run with one guide/sled who can tell you about both surroundings and all you want to know around the dogs. Our dogs are friendly alaskan huskies who are very willing to pull.

We drove out to the Howling Dog Farm which is easy to find, yet in the middle of nowhere. Unspoiled nature as far as the eye can see, just how you'd want it. Johnny and Jenny are very friendly hosts and gave us a warm welcome. Johnny introduced us to the dogs individually which is fascinating in its own right as each dog has its own distinct personality. Our kids had a go at harnessing, bonding with the dogs in the process. Then off into winter wonderland for a couple hours, a unique blend of adventure and tranquility. We each had a chance to help steer the sled which is good fun. Topping it off with a halfway break for hot chocolate and cinnamon rolls, this excursion is a winner.

Frihetsbolaget Snow Mobile Tour

Reviewed By EngSwe - Stockholm, Sweden

We had a fantastic tour on snow mobiles around the Vemdalen area, taking in forest trails, snow mobile tracks, and open fields. The snow mobiles were of a good standard and reliable, and the clothing was excellent - impressively warm and thick. Clearly they had taken safety gear seriously. We had a hot drink break in a quaint wooden cabin, which was needed as riding can be hard work if you go for it. I would strongly recommend having a guide, it gives you the opportunity to focus on the driving and the landscape, rather than map Reading. The guide knows where all the ditches are, and also where all the fun bits are to ride. Our guide spoke really good English and was more than helpful and knowledgeable on using the snow mobile.
