Good place to stay extensive
Reviewed By Chul SI stayed overnight with a group of 80 people, arriving at 7 pm. Week day night. The room is already assigned and we can go to our room right away without having to wait. The room's key was in the room. It was a j Japanese style.If you do not ask other wise the staff would come around 8-9 pm. to set up Futon and. Bed 4 U. But u can ask them to set up a bed on a standard box mattress. Air conditioning /or heater was new and control the room temp quiet perfect. It was -3 Celsius right now at 11 pm. There are typically, safe,fridge, hot/cold water tank in your room. It was old style hotel.,so don't expect bath room and toilet as usual-very small space toilet like u r sitting in a box. Dinner was really and I meant it . Fabulous, lots of variety to choose from. Free onsen / separate btwn /male /female, entertainment room ,,liberly.....very good indeed. Extensive range of food for dinner buffet.

Was Ok. a bit far from anything in town centre
Reviewed By Tamer EThe room was budget but had the basics, free wi-fi, I didn't take the breakfast options so won't be able to comment on that, as most motels/ hotels in Japan, You will need to pay for cable T.V. Thumbs up for their staff being able to understand and -to some extent- communicate in English.

Reviewed By sareewansAccommodation like a fairytale house. In the dark, snowy and windy when we arrived but in house is difference atmosphere. It was very lovely and warm. Staffs and chef are Taiwanese and good communicated in English. They are very good services mind. We got the full course dinner from local material in Hokkaido. Every dishes, they explained about ingredients. We feel like to go to visit our relative’ s house. I like to sit and see view from the window in the living room and listen the song that they opened. We are very impressed here.

Spacious Ski Lodge in a terrific location Absolutely magnificent sweeping views across the valley and Nozawa Onsen Resort. We completed a renovation recently to upgrade our facilities. We even installed a fireplace! The lodge has been Number 1 on Trip Advisor since we opened our doors almost 10 Years ago now Mainly due the the terrific team we have working with us We thank all our repeat guests for coming back year after year
Perfect place for a perfect ski holiday
Reviewed By 912seblWe stayed at Villa Nozawa for close to 2 weeks in December 2020-January 2021. It was a fantastic stay - a perfect 2-week ski holiday. The rooms are both clean and cozy, and the common areas are very comfortable. The breakfast delicious, with both Japanese and Western food, all 'home cooked' with great care. The staff was extremely attentive and friendly. Finally, the villa is well located, as you walk to the slopes easily and are 50 meters away from one of Nozawa's best public onsen. A good place to choose!

Serenity by the sea
Reviewed By HiLuA little out of the way, but well worth the excursion to this seaside town on the Inland Seto Sea. The Hotel boasts wonderful sea views from even the most modest room. The views alone makes the heart sing! Staff were extremely professional and accommodating, with good English skills. Check-in and check-out were no problem. My room was a Western style twin bed room, with ample space. The bathroom was fully kitted out with everything you needed. A yukata and slippers were provided, so you can just unwind and relax. I opted for the full board with dinner and breakfast. Both meals offered many courses deliciously prepared and served in the restaurant. Restaurant and kitchen staff were impeccable. Picked up reasonably priced souvenirs in the hotel shop. Roof top onsen was just a gorgeous experience, open to the stars at night with a view over the ocean to the twinkling lights of the town. Sublime! The town of Tomonoura is just a 10 mins walk away, and there is much to see around this sleepy, traditional town, including the old-style housing and harbour. It all makes this a totally relaxing break from the hustle and bustle of city tourism. It's other claim to fame was that one of the Wolverine movies was filmed here (look out for the Hugh Jackman rose), and Ponyo the anime was set in this location. The hotel provides a free shuttle bus to Fukuyama station, where the shinkansen stops. So make sure when you book to also ask about booking the shuttle bus. It is a scenic 30 minutes drive from Fukuyama. Other options include the public bus from the station at around Y550. Highly recommend the Hotel Ofutei for your stay in Tomonoura.

Reviewed By Banda-in-JapanI stayed here for a week while in Onna-son on business. The rooms are spacious and well-appointed so I was very comfortable. Although some construction behind the hotel has spoiled the views from the balcony, the balcony itself, with its table and chair, was a comfortable place to relax. The staff were very welcoming and kind. Due to COVID, breakfast was served in a box that guests picked up from the dining room and took back to their rooms (I even ate on the balcony a couple of times!). It was a very nice breakfast--more food than I could eat. There was also coffee and tea available in the room. Staying for a week, I needed to do laundry. The hotel had nice washing machines and even supplied free laundry detergent. There's not much within walking distance, except beach access and the university. But for me that was all I needed.

It's a bit weird that they don't change the sheets (we were there for three days) but then again, I don't need clean sheets every day when I am at home! Really nice products in the bathroom. Great area, but very very quiet at night.

It is located in Nara park surrounded by deers. I traveled by car which was very convenient since it’s a bit long walk from the city and very dark at night. Parking need to be reserved in advance ¥1000/day. Our room was nice and cozy, fully equipped kitchen, comfy double bed and plenty of space for kid. Absolutely recommend this place if you travel by car and with kids. Not so far from all famous attractions. Love this place and definitely come back again.
