Strategically located excellent low cost hotel
Reviewed By sinnerpoetryThis hotel is very close to Ishigaki port, which makes it perfect as a "base camp" to explore the Yaeyama islands. Moreover, the value is huge for the little price that it costs: big and clean rooms, free laundry, helpful staff (they even made us do the check in before the allowed time since the room was ready) and, cherry on top, a good breakfast in the morning with perfectly cooked eggs and spam meat. Obviously if you are serching for luxury or a resort style stay this is not the place for you, but if you are looking for an unexpensive stay with all the basic amenities... look no further.

Reviewed By schmidtmgWe spent 4 days at the Nata Beach villa hotel, situated towards the northern end of Ishigaki Island. You need a rental car to get there and around the island. The rooms we had were clean and comfortable, and hotel staff very friendly and eager to give tips for sightseeing. There's a sandy beach 2 minutes walk from the hotel - it was totally empty during our stay, but to my taste there was too much plastic litter. The hotel sees a good local (Japanese) breakfast which is included in the room price. Drive to the airport is around 20 mins, to Ishigaki town around 30 mins. to the northernmost tip of the island less than 15 minutes.

Inviting place in the charming location
Reviewed By travelerscalThe first thing that stands out about Lulaliya is its proximity to Ishigaki’s famous Kabira Bay: it’s less than a five minutes’ walk from the landmark, and that alone makes it worthwhile to book. However, it offers so much more! I stayed three nights with a friend, and we found that it was a perfect place to kick up our heels while staying on Ishigaki. The rooms are cozy and well-furnished, and have everything you might want. On the first floor, there is a spacious café/eating area. Here, you can enjoy the house breakfast (for an extra fee), or even buy breakfast from another place (the nearby bakery, for instance) and bring it back. You can also use it in the evening as a lounge if you’d like to hang out, but don’t want to stay in your room. My friend and I ate birthday cake there! Hot water for tea/coffee and cold water for drinking are available around the clock. The proprietor, Aya, is very friendly, has excellent English, and can help you book any tours you may want. She booked us a wonderful all-day snorkeling/kayaking tour, and helped us shape our days on the island. She was a delight to talk to, and could help us hammer out our plans at the drop of a hat. She’ll introduce you to the nearby restaurants and their hours, which is good—every day, there’s at least one place that’s closed, so it’s good to be careful of. The hotel is also very close to the bus stop, which is another bonus: Ishigaki doesn’t have too many buses, but the Kabira Bay hub is one of the ones where more of them come and go from. We found Lulaliya a great base of operations, and I would stay again in a heartbeat.

As well as a long, nearly empty white sand beach starting a short walk away. Our priority is on providing the best possible service to our guests at a reasonable rate. With lots of outdoor activities available right outside our door, beautiful gardens, refreshing swimming pool, good food and great service, we pride ourselves on the experience we provide our guests with. At Ishigaki Sunset Cove Hotel we offer a variety of rooms for singles, couples and families both large and small. We have fully self-contained villas for up to 6 adults, or 4 adults and 4 kids each, rooms good for groups of friends with separate beds, and even single-occupancy rooms.
The worst customer service ever
Reviewed By abV9326ETWe booked this place on Booking. com partly because airport pick up service was offered, and we also called beforehand to confirm the availability of it. A day before our trip we received an email saying they’ll be exactly an hour late because they had to pick up other customers. It’s more than 1.5 hours after our flight had landed and we’re still waiting at the airport. Called the hotel and the owner was super rude on the phone, threatening me to cancel the booking, no apologies offered at all!

Perfect weekend escape with our dogs

Owners are very friendly and make you feel like nothing is too much trouble.My dogs lived swimming and playing the beautifully maintained did run/play area. Dinner and breakfast are high quality,very fresh and delicious. Would recommend with or without dogs. Will definitely be going back. See you again Bali Resort Ishigakijima. ?

Reviewed By Hajime Kit was a very cozy small hotel for solo to families. very nice staff with full support to those who stay with right advice. breakfast is great full of local vegetables and nicely cooked. rooms are very spacious and clean, with jaggzy with the view of taketomi island!!

Reviewed By Nilanjana MBeautiful ryokan cottages run by an elderly gentleman, location is great if you are looking to stay in Kabira bay but far from downtown. The bus ride to & from town takes about an hour each way, its a beautiful ride though!

Found a great French resturant for lunch on ishigaki ( Dog freindly)
Reviewed By okiefred54While driving on Ishigaki, we did a stop by here for lunch, the food was first class. This also a pet friendly place with our dog we enjoyed a great meal and beautiful view. They even welcome us with a bowl of water for our dog when we arrived.
