下館市街の南のはずれ、国道294号線沿いにあるマクドナルド。ロードサイドなので、お昼時や夕方はドライブスルーのお客さんで結構混みあい、列ができます。時間をずらすか、店内で食べてしまうかにするとよいでしょう。

(Oct2016) This is a Mos Burger chain restaurant. It is within easy walking distance from the Shimodate train station in Chikusei,Ibaraki,Japan. Just walk straight down the main road, Southwards from the station. It is nice and cosy, small restaurant but not too small. When I was there at night, I see that most of the customers order take-away. The food is standard Mos Burger fare (which I quite like) and the staff are friendly. 国道50号と294号が交差するところ。筑西市でもっともにぎやかな交差点に面する吉野家です。駐車場も完備されていて、北関東方面への旅行の際には便利な存在。真岡鐵道のＳＬ撮影の帰りに寄りましたが、牛丼にサラダと味噌汁のセットでバランスよく食事ができました。
