Nette Chef und Co.Essen ist wirklich lecker und viel( für mich Zu viel)Drinnen ist es schön aber einfach eingerichtet- da es ein Anglerverein ist , ist die Dekoration auch dem entsprechend.Es gibt eine kleine Terasse mit Blick auf dem See. Preislestung ist in Ordnung

The location and the scene was exceptional. I ordered a steak and it was good .cooked the way I want ,well done.the cheese appetizer which seems to be a traditional local dish of the region was very good specially the spicy flavor. If the weather allow you can set in the terrace. which by itself worth the visit.

Nothing what we got was good my dish was to much peperred my pasta dish overcooked and I felt bad the whole day and evening.My friends dish was uneatable too.The service was too slow and unfriendly

Ich war nun schon zweimal in den Klosterstuben in Seligenstadt, einmal im Sommer und nun im Herbst. Im Sommer kann man drauÃen auf dem Freihofplatz sitzen und das leckere Essen und den wirklich tollen Service genieÃen. Im Herbst haben wir einen schönen Tisch im Restaurant gehabt und wurden wieder sehr persönlich, freundlich und professionel bedient. Das Essen war jedes Mal absolut Spitze! Ich hatte einmal einen Salat, welcher wirklich total lecker war und beim zweiten Mal ein Schitzel Wiener Art. Da ich Schnitzel Fan bin, habe ich in Seligenstadt schon einige probiert, aber an dieses reicht keines ran! Es war super lecker und der Gurkensalat, welcher neben leckeren Pommes als Beilage gereicht wurde, war ebenfalls sehr schmackhaft! Danach gönnte ich mir noch ein Dessert, es war eine in Buttermilch getränkte Schnitte, die warm und mit Zitronensorbet serviert wurde. Einfach ein GenuÃ!Was soll ich noch schreiben? WIR KOMMEN SEHR GERNE WIEDER!

Hotel' main restaurant is located in the 'old' or historical part of the hotel. Very cosy, warm atmosphere.Not a very big menu selection, but food is good and portions large. Prices are OK.Nice wine selection, rather expensive (compared to food prices).Service was OK (restaurant was full, we had to wait to place orders and refills - a couple of hands short...). We were visiting this town for a Easter Market and stumbled on this restaurant. The place was packed so I would recommend a reservation. We were seated in the back of the restaurant and were amazed at the amount of delicious dishing dishes going out to all the tables. They have a wonderful menu and our food was amazing. My husband had a vegetarian pasta dish that was delicious and I had a salad with chicken breast and veggies. My salad was so good! The chicken was so tasty and tender. The salad dressing was outstanding. We were also served bruschetta at the beginning of the meal that was out of this world. I could have had an order of that alone and been totally satisfied. Our waiter was awesome and spoke english to us even though we both understand German. I was so impressed with the food that was going out to other tables and would love to try more dishes at this place. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves really good authentic Italian dishes.

Had reserved here for dinner over the busy wine festival weekend. The ambiance is lovely, although bring your glasses to read menu in the low lighting! There was nice soft music with a piano player and a really great singer. We really appreciated it, not intrusive at all and the selection of songs was just perfect. In addition, the food was outstanding. The menu variety is very large and the portions are very generous. The starter sized spinach salad could have been a meal in itself as the salad had some side dishes, mushrooms and a cheese in a sauce dish, all so very good. The filet mignon was delicious as were the two side dishes I selected, beans with bacon and caramelized potatoes with rosemary. It is certainly on the pricey side but well worth it. The meal was very memorable and this was by far the best restaurant we ate at in Seligenstadt over three days.
