The Terrace was nicely lit up and welcoming when we cycled past, after attending a concert nearby. We couldn't resist stopping to refuel.
It wasn't busy, nor was it very late, but we only just managed to order food before the kitchen closed..... The Dutch clearly don't like eating late!
Service was very friendly and prompt. We ordered pizzas and drinks and enjoyed the warm summer evening, looking out over the historic Fish Market and the beautifully restored listed buildings.
Enjoyable food. Excellent coffees afterwards too.
Great atmosphere and conveniently located.

Old cafe built with good foods, good value, place in the centrum near the beach, Historical Museum, shopping centres, shops. The menu start with €20 euros, tosti and bitter ballen are a good choice for brunch with beer. Good place to hang out even in Sunday.

We have choosen this restaurant because of the trip advisor comments and all these comments are true !.the restaurant is in the old town of Harderwijk - all dishes are priced the same 9.75 euro and you really get value for money. The host and personnel are very charming. The wine was very good and not expensive. The restaurant was also fully booked, we were lucky to find two places in the nice cellar ! To be recommended !

We had the four-course signature menu of Michel van der Kroft and had a wonderful evening. Started with oysters and champagne - can't even to begin to describe the other dishes because they were such a fantastic blend of tastes and challenges, served to perfection for the taste buds and for the beholder. The wine arrangement was great. This restaurant definitely deserves the two Michelin stars!

We visited twice during a recent holiday in the Netherlands. Harderwijk is a bustling little place with lots of eateries to choose from but Pizza Di Mama is always busy and came highly recommended on TA. Pizzas were well cooked and very tasty with plenty of interesting toppings to choose from. We didn't have pasta but portions looked very generous. Prices were very reasonable for starters and mains but the Deserts weren't so great - a little industrial and overpriced.
The service was really friendly and helpful and there was a great atmosphere on both occasions. Recommend to families of all ages.

Went with friends from Harderwijk, the owner is very friendly, we had a selection of foods, bread with garlic butter, prawns, meat platter, sliced beef which was so tender, spaghetti with garlic and butter again all delicious. we went back 3 nights later it was so nice.

Exellent place for spend time and enjoy the good food. Silent place with good athmosfere for visiters : families,couples,small parties . Tasty meat ( I eat ribs and drink beer ) , tasty soup and salads.
Great internal end external design .

Very nice restaurant with excellent ambiance, staff is very friendly and helpfull. The food is of very high standard with local ingredients. They serve a good collection of wine.
Its pricey but totally worth it, when asked for the check we had had a little difference of opinion concerning paying with giftcards, but they handeled that very well. We got a very nice book about the Basiliek Restaurant and a bottle of wine to take home.
I would definitly recommend this restaurant, we had a very pleasant evening.
Tip: if you intend to pay with a giftcard please give them notice in advance so there are no surprises afterwards

Food is art at this restaurant. Kind off French cuisine without the hassle. A great mix of flavours, Try the 3 to 5 course menu’s and let the Chef have his way at your friends or family and all will be right. Have the female sommelier make the suggestions for the wines with your meal and let the party begin. In summer start at the Terrace overlooking the 16th century Vismarkt and beautiful Vispoort of Harderwijk.

Loving spicy food and Indian spices, we were recommended by local friends to come here for an early dinner. Though, not far from the water which is probably a nice view with the Sunshine out, our Mission was not so much the decor of the restaurant or anything else other than the food.
The mixed grill dish was piping hot and still sizzling at our table. The chicken Korma was delightful to balance out the lamb Madras and another chicken Madras dish we enjoyed. All in all, we shared 4 dishes for the four of us and walked away totally satisfied by the quality, quantity and tastes of the food dishes served. It is very casual, at least when we were there, and no one rushes you although we ourselves were in a hurry to get to a meeting. Nonetheless, it is a sure bet you will enjoy the variety of tastes here at Mamta. We took their advice that the Madras dishes would be sufficiently hot enough as we also toyed with the idea of a Vindaloo dish. Good advice we received.
