Reviewed By 110nikkemAt the very heart of Haparanda, a lovely old hotel that has been renovated with great taste while honoring the past. Rooms were tidy and quiet. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was plenty and great. It also kept you going the whole day. Free WiFi and parking and most important for me, pets are allowed to this wonderful hotel. I truly recommend this hotel for travellers either staying or just passing through Haparanda. You will not be disappointed.

Enjoying light summer nights
Reviewed By janengvallThis place has history: known from the 1600s and onwards. Always relying on the blessings of the river and enjoying light warm summers as well as cold snowy winters. We rented the lodge on the river bank in the middle of July. It was well kept, had some cooking facilities and access to sauna and a wooden outdoor bath barrel. We enjoyed breakfast at the main house and went to the Hulkoff restaurant in the vicinity for dinner. Whether your interest is fishing, hiking, or city tourisim, there is always something interesting for you. This is a good place to visit, whether you want to relax or learn about the adventurous history of the area.

Favorite accommodation in Haparanda
Reviewed By DavvebieggaSpent 1 night in the River Motell & Vandrarhem in March and it wasn't the first time - and hopefully not the last. I had a nice single room with own toilet and shower, which was perfect. I had been staying in other rooms with shared bathroom before, several times, both summer and winter/spring. Contactless check-in was perfect, free wifi worked fine. I didn't use much of the common kitchen this time, but had used it before., it's big and comfortable. The motel/hostel is situated by the river and only a few hundred meters from the bus station at the Finnish border. Train station is also a few hundred meters, in the other direction. Supermarkets within walking distance. Calm in the night.

It is a separate house than the rooms are located, but there the friendly staff guided it perfectly to where to go and how to work. The place was really neat and quiet. On short distances there are shopping areas, a fine riverside jogging and a few eating places. Everything was in line with the descriptions. The breakfast was included in the price and was quite good. I was missing about the lack of warm food (for example oatmeal), but for example. bread, fruits, vegetables and drinks was a lot of variety to offer. So, if you are in the direction of Haparanda for a pass or a shopping trip, this is all a cheap and comfortable place for one night. It's hard to imagine that no one would spend more days here, but one night I can recommended.

Är under renovering-portabelt värmeelement funkade bra. Kommer att bli bättre när klart Enkelt att hitta och bra parkering Spartansk frukost, men ok-saknade mjölk till kaffe/the.
