Reviewed By kigsThe hotel was very comfortable, clean, and close to everything. Friendly staff and owners. The only issue we had was one night, the front gate was looked and it took a while to locate the night attendant to open the door for us to leave.

Great hospitality, beautiful rooms, safe and convenient location
Reviewed By Dan KI stayed at the Home Suite Apartment in October 2020 and February 2021. On both occasions the staff worked with me for check in and check out. The rooms are beautiful and clean. The locations is excellent for getting to and from the airport. Cafes are nearby for morning coffee and the Mall del Sol for grabbing supplies. This place is perfect for anyone staying in Guayaquil for a couple days to visit the city or as a stopover for connecting travel.

Very nice apartment
Reviewed By Roxanne DWe were gladly surprise about this place. Beautiful and comfortable room with a small integrated kitchen. The people managing the suits where amazingly helpful and even offer us a free drive to see food restaurant because our cab was late. I would love to come back to visit more of this country highly recommend.

An okay place close to the airport
Reviewed By gbrportlandWe ended up staying at Goya at the last minute due to traveling disruptions - fortunately they have a room available at a reasonable price. They did offer airport pick-up for $12, but we took a taxi for $5 - just know that - truly - taxi drivers cannot find this place! We drove around, up and down streets forever (no GPS, apparently) before finally finding it. Better signage out front would certainly help - there is nothing really identifying the building as Goya. The building itself is on a quiet side street within walking distance of major streets - we walked to a large mall that is nearby, as well as a supermarket (to buy bottled water). it is an old building, somewhat shabby, but clean and comfortable enough. There was no one who spoke English there either in the afternoon when we arrived or the next morning, so communication was pretty hit/miss. Our room had two twin beds and a full bed (not what we reserved, but didn't matter - we just wanted to sleep!) - up a couple flights of narrow and not completely even steps. Be careful if you have balance issues or heavy luggage. The room was clean, bathroom was small, but adequate. Walls are paper-thin and we had to ask the people in the room next door to turn down their TV set a couple of times (and they complied both times, thankfully). Still, the area is quiet, for the most part, and we slept very well. (Note: the pillow had sham coverings instead of regular pillow cases, which didn't bother me, but might bother others.) We had to leave for the airport before breakfast in the morning, much to the disappointment of the woman who was there getting it ready (we really wished that we knew more Spanish!) - we actually walked back to the airport just for exercise. If you don't have much luggage and are willing to carry it or roll on uneven surfaces, it's a doable walk. All in all, this was a convenient and adequately comfortable place to spend the night when facing a short stay and wanting to remain near the airport. Be sure to get directions in Spanish for the taxi driver before getting in the cab!

Reviewed By YorchyNo es lujoso pero es un buen sitio donde alojarse con cierta comodidad. El apartamento está bien equipado con prácticamente todo lo necesario para cocina y demás. El barrio está bien ubicado y es bastante seguro. El precio es muy razonable y se tiene total privacidad. No hay servicios de restaurante ni atención de personal alguno durante la estadía. Muy recomendable para viajes individuales o de pareja, por trabajo o unos días de compras.

Reviewed By Philippa93We were here about a year ago and stayed for well over a week, just fell in love with the place! Fantastic facilities, incredible staff, the family welcomed us into their home and treated us like royalty it was amazing. So cheap for what you get, an absolute luxury for 2 tired smelly backpackers! there is a swimming pool which is so clean and great to swim in at night. On our frist night they told us to relax and take a dip (amazing!) And whilst we're enjoying the pool they brought us a glass of wine and some nachos! Honestly cant say how happy we were to be there and how badly we didnt want to leave! One night we were watching a dvd outside and they bought us popcorn too, really the best hosts you will meet. They even invited us to go to the beach with them for the weekend! A beautiful family! I could go on and on but i wont, overall everything was brilliant, the only issue is the distance from the city center and the fact its quite hard to find, but no worries, once you're there you wont want to leave so it doesn't matter :-) Thank you so much for the perfect stay, if i ever return to south america i will definitely stay here again.

Good for the price
Reviewed By Rainer BKuri "Suites" is in fact a small private house that offers 6 guestrooms. The rooms are small, but cleaned every day, and comfortable enough. The owners explain every little detail when you arrive (which can be a little tedious, especially when it happens in front of your window when other guest arrive at night). The place has a terrace for breakfast (that in itself is a very continental affair - scrambled fried egg, two slices of white bread, instant coffee and some orange juice). Two rooms (2 and 3) are located towards the terrace, so everything will happen in front of your window. Kuri also runs some kind of kindergarden in the backyard, so during the morning (during the week) expect lost of children noise. The internet serves for TV, which makes it excruciatingly slow, especially in the evenings and during weekends (or anytime lots of guests and the whole family are there), although there are two users one can log into. However, not suitable to really work. So, if you are on Business, and out all day long, don't want a big breakfast, and don't need much internet speed for the few hours you are in, this is great for the price. If you look for a really quiet and comfortable place to work, are in a lot, and need fast internet, then this is not for you.
