This wonderful, little cafetÃn is one of our favourite lunch spots. We donât discuss where, if weâre lunching, itâs usually here. The comida casera, kind of a plate of the day, outstanding, always hot and fresh, and beyond reasonably priced. The ambiance is relaxed, the hosts always friendly, welcoming, and the service always quick. The drinks - real, national natural fruit drinks or cold cokes in glass bottles (Iâm partial to coke in a bottle, nostalgia I guess) The room is not large but, this little cafetÃn is worthy of recognition, so Iâm putting my seat on the line.

You must try the Curvina fish - wonderful! And the fresh vegetables are fabulous! The salad with grilled chicken is a delicious appetizer. Everything prepared FRESH so relax and realize it will be awhile once you order. Youâre on Nica-Time so be patient! The food is worth the wait.Hello Sandy, thank you very much for your kind words! We are glad you liked our food and atmosphere. We apologize for the unusual waiting time - which is not our standard. We are always keen to serve as fast as possible. However, as you mention, freshly prepared dishes sometimes need their time! We hope to see you any time soon again!

We came back here four times during our four days in Granada because everything we tried was excellent. The vegetable & chicken burrito was decently sized, packed full of delicious vegetables and full of flavour. The chorizo burrito was also excellent for a more proteiny fix, and my girlfriend drooled over her Hawaiian burrito as well. The regular quesadilla is also a drool-worthy, slightly smaller option. Burritos were ~$3 US, and the quesadillas ~$2.50 US - much cheaper and better than many of the other food options we could find in the area. Both the chef and the server were really pleasant and welcomed us back. We also discovered that they make their own hot sauce and bought a bottle to bring back!

Stopped in here for breakfast. Staff are very friendly and we were seated straight away. We ordered the eggs, bacon, toast and the hamd and cheese omlette, both were cooked well. Prices are a high for what you get which is disappointing. As we have had better breakfasts for the same price at other cafes in the area.

Tastes was recommended to us by the owner of our hotel. The meals were just okay. Veg lasagna was fresh tasting, but served almost cold. Schnitzel was so over cooked, they removed it from the bill when we complained. Banana flambé was just banana pieces swimming in an orange juice sauce. Restaurant has great potential, but not quite there yet.

It's just a street away from the hustle of the main restaurant road. We received complimentary empanadas to taste. They were delicious. The food was very flavorful and the service was excellent.

My wife and I had twice dinner at El Zaguan and both times food was brilliant and service excellent. As frequent visitors to the north of Spain, which is recognised as having the most distinguished cuisine in the country, this restaurant recalled all the good experiences we had there. You have to try the pickled tuna and the classic garlic gambas.

Enjoyed a nice breakfast here. Ordered the breakfast quesadilly and avocado toast. Both meals tasted great and were very filling. We also had the pineapple, passionfruit and banana smoothie which was a bit sour for my liking. The staff are friendly and speak english. You can pay with cash or credit card. Prices for breakfast i think are still a little high.
