Reviewed By 465karolinalThe biggest issue that there is no restaurant in this hotel or nearby :( we checked in pretty late after all day traveling with car, were hungry and expected to relax at the hotel restaurant, but after check in we had to go by car to the city nearby, find parking and have dinner there. But the next day we had pretty nice dinner at the terrace with our own food from supermarket :) Also they have a pool at their photos, but its not for hotel visitors, we have been told it is "private" i gues for hotel owner. Mountain view room i would say "part mountain view", because our window was pointed part to the building roof, part to the mountains. The room was clean with daily cleaning Very quiet hotel Very good breakfast and in the afternoon they serve free coffee and cake which is nice :) Also comfortable for travellers with cars because of big and free parking.

The hotel was just recently renovated in 2004 and offers modern amenities such as elevator, attractive sauna facilities, breakfast buffet and parking. Relax in our lovely individually decorated rooms, all equipped with Cable TV, telephone, safe, hairdryer and private bathroom.
Good hotel in center of Golling
Reviewed By EdLauwerensStayed a few days with a group on a bicycle vacation. The rooms are simple, but clean and the bed is excellent. The hotel offers a great breakfast, with many ingredients from local farmers. You can park for free 100 meters away (ask at the reception) and the hotel offered a place to park our bicycles. We did not use the fitness room or sauna, but they looked fine as well. Dinner was offered in a restaurant across the street - basic Austrian cuisine, fine as well. All in all a great, well organised, small hotel which more than delivers for its price point. If you are at this hotel, I can really recommend to visit the Golling Waterfall, which is 3 kms from the hotel.

Kein Klima Anlage - 32 grad um 22 Uhr trotz Ventilator! Ein von zwei Fenstern kaputt. Dusche nicht sauber und Türgriff zur Klo runter gefallen. Although their Website says, which we pointed out to them when paying the bill, by room prices and by general information that breakfast is included, we still had to pay extra! No air conditioning and one of two windows broken meant 90 degrees at 10 pm even though a fan was on. Shower was poorly cleaned and the door handle to the bathroom fell off.

Decent lodging
Reviewed By Bob SOne night at the Torrenerhof was relaxing. This hotel seems to cater more to families with it's all-inclusive plan. Dining for guests on this plan included breakfast and dinner buffets. We ordered from the menu and had a decent meal. Breakfast the next morning was nothing special, but it could be a good affordable option for families. The Golling Waterfall is a short 10 minute walk from the hotel. We had a difficult time finding the hotel because of road construction in the area. But once we turned off the auto navigation and followed the street signage, we were fine.

Our guest house is located on the outskirts of Golling . The country-style rooms have a shower , toilet , cable TV . Top restaurants are located in the center of Golling . The center with the historic castle and the museum can be reached in 5 minutes on foot . The swimming pool / spa paradise Aqua Salza is 200 meters . Golling Train Station is 800 meters away and trains to and from the city of Salzburg run regularly at short intervals . Our private parking are free, and even larger vehicles (even with trailer) have space .

Very Enjoyable Stay - Would Recommend
Reviewed By K80KatieStayed in Blue River Suite 421. Best position in the hotel directly about the River Traun. Very new building very well done. Was very impressed- ceiling is 5m & the balcony was just gorgeous. I arrived out of hours unexpectedly on Sunday night & this was quickly accommodated. Couldn’t fault the room at all - was way better than I expected. Only ate breakfast- staff were extremely friendly. Large selection- I would have preferred bacon & eggs cooked to order not left in warmers but there was plenty of choice. The spa area was very nice - not as good as Eurothermen where I stayed before but perfectly nice. I had 2 massages with Mr Katzer & he was outstanding- the best massages I’ve had & I’ve has a lot! The position of Goldener Ochs is superb & particularly the new addition which is where the suites are. Only negative is that on the other side of the bridge there is a bar & all the teenagers congregate there & were unreasonably loud until very late. I did complain about this at checkout. Obviously this isn’t the hotels fault but it should be addressed. This is only an issue in good weather & if you are in a suite on the front. In the main building this wouldn’t be an issue. I will definitely go back- the friendly staff really added to this hotel but you can’t beat the position- best position in Bad Ischl for a hotel in my opinion. Very impressed- a lot better than expected. Eurothermen was worse than expected on my last trip( apart from its spa) so this was a pleasant surprise to love this place so much. Covid measures in place BUT at breakfast utensils being used by everyone. This seems ludicrous & not very well thought out. Everyone could just use their own cutlery.

Nice family hotel
Reviewed By Edda75Gastehaus Reiter is located on the main street of the little town of Golling an der Salzach....which is about 25 km from Salzburg. Its very close to many attractions in the neighbourhood... Saltmines in Hallein and Berchtesgaden and Eagles nest and lake Königsee..... We stayed in this small family own hotel for 2 nights in august 2015. As we were 2 families with children we booked 2 family rooms.... One of our rooms had a beautiful mountain view and the other one the street view. I recommend mountain view room because it is more quiet and has a nice big balcony. The rooms were very clean and had the basic toiletries in the bathroom. The owners were very friendly elderly couple...... Mr.George was very helpful and funny. The breakfast was served in the other building which is other hotel that belongs to the same family. Its only few steps from Gastehaus Reiter. Overall the experience was really good.......only down part was that the rooms didn't have air-conditioner ( normally there is no need for that)...and it was little hot at night because we were there on time when exceptional heat wave hit the Austria. I definitely recommend this hotel and i hope to be back soon.

Reviewed By AlexAntarStaying at the Hauslwirt certainly was an experience, but not a good one. While some of the staff is super friendly, we were greeted by a grumpy old lady that was clearly annoyed by us wanting to check-in. The rooms are small and dated, with us both being able to feel every single spring in the mattress while lying on it. Breakfast was ok, but nothing to write home about. Will not stay here again.
