Wanted to take a hot spring bath in Nagaragawa onsen as the weather was atrocious! Many of the other hotels are not accepting outside guests at this time as a Covid measure (but luckily this hotel did between 11.30 - 14.00) The lady on reception was so helpful and we were able to have private use of the baths when we went there (¥1000 per person with bath and hand towels included) There are baths on the 6th floor and the rooftop (this bath alternates between ladies and men day by day it seems) There were 2 baths on the 6th floor. The rooftop bath looks out onto the river and across to Gifu castle. Great value for money and well worth a visit but call ahead to make sure that there are no large group bookings as the changing rooms are set up to handle around 12 people comfortably with social distancing measures in place.

An original hot spring hotel with charm

Reviewed By Mohan S

The hotel is located in a great location and while the amenities are limited but it is know for it hot springs. While we spoke no Japanese, the staff were truly exceptional and made is welcome and went the extra mile to make sure that we felt taken care of. The star manager for us was Sakuragi-san. He really made an attempt to keep us informed and was always asking us if we needed help -- which occasionally we did. 5* service. :)
