An ancient town and part of the local-government district of Rother, Bexhill is home to a number of archaeological sites, a Manor House in the Old Town, an abundance of Edwardian and Victorian architecture, and the famous De La Warr Pavilion: today a centre for contemporary art – which has featured the work of Andy Warhol, Cerith Wyn Evans and Richard Wilson amongst others – and an auditorium, where Bob Marley had his first UK appearance and has since seen performances by Elvis Costello, Goldfrapp, Ray Davies, Years and Years, Pati Smith and Lauri Anderson.

Unexpected discovery in Bexhill! Cinnamon Cafe has just opened in Bexhill (a few steps from the station) and I visited for breakfast. Always at a loss in Bexhill to find a sugar-free breakfast, this was just what I needed. I went for the Mediterranean breakfast which was just brilliant and included creamy homemade hummus, flat bread, olives and a little skillet of scrambled eggs. This place is adorable and I truly hope it does well!!!

Fabulous homemade Greek food, not the tourist food but proper Greek dishes. Mix that with a cafe that serves pizza with homemade dough, English breakfast with sausages from the local butcher and great coffee from Roasted of Brighton and you have yourself the best of everything.. Annette is the perfect host and Demetri the chef. So go practice your Greek whilst tucking into some great food and If you donât see what you like then just ask them.

We have chosen this place to try more restaurants in Bexhill area and it was first time and last time we will be coming here. Very disappointed with standard. People were friendly but clearly the owner donât have an idea how to run restaurant. He employed waitress no training given. Restaurant was empty and only we have been there. While we were eating, waitresses manerisum were badly coughing, loudly speaking and sneezing and talking rude. Really put off to eat my dinner. The dinner had the probably Iceland potatoes and smallest Yorkshire pudding I ever seen and fried onion with boiled carrots. Clearly donât know what is propa traditional roast. Really spoiled our day not to having propa roast dinner and me and my husband were very upset that we couldnât give his Mum, Motherâs Day she deserve.

Since discovering this caffe, it has become a firm favourite of ours! A group of friends meet up for breakfast on a Thursday and we have never been disappointed. Delicious, especially the breakfast bubble with home made red onion chutney - omg! Lovely lovely staff, and unbelievable value for money. See you Thursday!!!

Visited this restaurant last night and could not fault it. The food was absolutely delicious and I can't wait to go back. The staff were so amazing although there was only us and another table left they did not rush us (even though they were probably desperate to go home!!) so thank you for that.

Busy Saturday, early evening, we returned for a quick meal.Service was lovely and attentive...nothing was too much trouble even when we asked about the wine.Staff and manageress...5 Star.Food...pizza...excellent....large and super tasty.Having reviewed before we were pleasantly surprised about the changes and level of service.Will we go back...yes we will!Thanks.
