I love when they offer 'fritada' for lunch. The lunches are $4 and very fresh. One of te few lunch places I come visit regulary. The chocolate cake here is also delicious!

It's a classic in Machala. Once it was the place to be for the who's who the city. That era has passed. But wat has stayed is the good food. I always eat the steak a la pimienta. which is spelled incorrect in the menu for several years now. its a good portioned steak, i always ask it medium-rare, but it's too thin to be cooked medium rare. the quality of the meat is excellent and the peper sauce that comes with it is sometimes very peppery and sometimes very creamy, but always excellent in taste.the waiters are quite formal in style, but very correct. I think they talk at least some english but I never tested. recommended

My friends and I had a great experience in Syrah restaurant, the place is new and has a colonial style, very cozy, we ask for wings of flavors, (the maracuya were very delicious) a sandwiches, desserts and some drinks, this place is lovely , very well decorated, clean and has many options to eat and drink for good prices, the service is very good, all are very friendly and attentive, 100% recommended, we will definitely return to this place.

I had the California Burger which was awesome and came with a side of salsa (e.g. champignon). Cesar Salad was a bit meh and the place is cold at night and lacks atmosphere.It is a pleasure to receive a comment from you, your comment is very important and helps us to grow and provide you with a better service, thank you for visiting us.

On our guided survey of Ecuador, we stopped here for lunch, a good choice. My wife and I both had the mariscos soup. Yum! Could have been a Mediterranean soupe de poissons. No saffron in it and yet the flavor was wonderful. Can't speak to the rest of the menu, but expect the chef knows what he's doing, and suggest giving it a try.

We came to this place twice and we highly recommend it. Quilotoa is a very small village and there arenât many places, we were therefore surprised to have the best coffee we had in Ecuador here. We tried the soups and these were very tasty. We also had a couple of teas and these were very good (with actual plants). Very nice place, definitely worth stopping by for some food or a drink!
