Loved everything about the glasshouse. Such a tastefully built and furnished space with so much to keep you occupied with. They have a top notch collection of board games and a fabulous book collection. Both Paul and Shirani's presence is echoed in the tiny little details they've left in the house and you'd feel right at home snuggled up in a couch overlooking the infinity pool , reading Paul's many tales of his travels and life. We loved it so much that we bought two copies ( the whining pome , to the point and on the road again) to take back with us. The staff is lovely and went an extra mile to make sure we were so well looked after. They even gave us a surprise awrudu table as our stay fell on the new years' day. They have a fabulous chef who could make literally anything you'd fancy. I don't have enough words to describe how incredible the sunrise views by the pool are. You must see for yourself.? Will sure be back soon.

Picturesque little bungalow with beautiful garden in a stunning location overlooking the Victoria reservoir. Very close proximity to the Pallekelle international cricket stadium and Victoria golf club. The bungalow is breathtakingly designed in the architectural style of Geoffrey Bawa. Our room was very clean and comfortable with all necessary amenities provided. A highlight was breakfast in the garden under the Kottang tree!! The food was some of the best we've ever tasted, personally prepared by the hostess herself!! The owners were very friendly and considerate and made sure that all our needs were met. We had a very interesting and informative evening with Mr. Abeysekera in his greenhouse where he explained to us his innovative and efficient ways harvesting fruit and vegetables organically. Absolutely super value for money and highly recommended!!

Only stopped one night but treated extermely well

My partner and I only stopped at the hotel for one night as part of our Sri Lankan tour. This is a little boutique hotel with the room being very modern and a little quirky, with a solid concrete table. The hotel seemed very quiet when we arrived and when we went to the restaurant for dinner there was only one other table that was occupied by three English and two French people. With the restaurant being so quiet the chef came out and asked us what we he could cook for us as there were insufficient people for the buffet that is the norm. We asked about having a bottle of wine, which the manager said they do not stock, but he sent one of his staff out of the hotel to get a bottle of wine for us. The next morning when we went for breakfast the other five people had left the hotel and it was just the two of us. Again the chef came out and offered to cook us whatever we wanted for breakfast as it was not worth producing a buffet. I did ask the manager why the hotel was so quiet but he said that night the hotel was fully booked as they had a coach party arriving. I would love to have stopped a little longer as there were facilities in the hotel we did not get chance to use. Don't book this if you want to go to Kandy as it is a little way out. We had already spent the day in Kandy so needed the rest.

Villa Tee Four

A little piece of heaven

Reviewed By ClareF745

As I sit here on the back porch overlooking the stunning valley and lake I feel like I am in heaven. All I can hear is the sound of birds, the breeze in the trees and the odd ping of a golf club. Today we leave after 3 perfect nights at Tee Four Villa. Funnily enough we hadn’t booked this place, but had booked rooms at The Victoria Golf & Country Resort, but due to a big wedding they asked if we would be ok staying here....are we ok? We are delighted! The villa is so homely and kept immaculately clean by Ramya our housekeeper. Who I must add is one of the sweetest ladies I have ever met. The pool is a great size and the gardens are immaculately kept. My intention staying here was that I would go for a walk with my family as they played golf....that hasn’t happened as I have been glued to this seat on the verandah taking in the beautiful scenery. This has been the perfect start to our holiday. We would definitely stay here again.
