Nice clean restaurant and friendly service but the chicken curry advertised was not remotely like one .It consisted of pasta chicken sauce with cheese on top and no spices.As I was looking for something different to usual Greek fare I found this very disappointing

The owner / waiter was surly and rude throughout The food was mediocre apart from the tuna salad which was goodNear the end of the meal without notice or asking this bloke starting shoving our table to accommodate someone else . When challenged he was very sarcastic

We feel like we were over charged here. Early evening and asked if we could have a table, the owner said yes, but only a few things on the menu. We were OK with this as we wanted fish. The owner recommend the cold fish starter and the fish platter - so we took his advice and ordered this - the portions were small and we were then charge 79 euros...... the owner had by then gone for a sleep - our first restaurant in Agia Pelagia and so we thought it was going to be an expensive trip, but then we soon realised we had paid over the top for average food. Not a great experience.Thank you very much for your review and for sharing your experience at Kri Kri Restaurant with the viewers of Trip Advisor.Mr. George, the owner of our restaurant, very frequently gives suggestions to all our customers. Especially when it comes to fresh fish. Kindly also notice that all prices are on the menu in order for you to see them before you order. If you did not agree with the price you were always welcome to order something else of your liking. We are sorry for any inconvienience caused anyway. Waited at the door for 10 minutes before I was even acknowledged let alone seated then the kitchen new nothing about gluten (I am celiac) they pretended to know what they were talking about but then there was a massive mess up with my food.. I could have something and then I couldâve have it.. half of my food I am currently still waiting for now (sat at the table still) We sat down at 7:30 it is now almost 10:30 and other than bread and olives we have had one dish.. Iâve wasted my last night here at this horrific restaurant and itâs ruined my evening. Iâm now still hungry and having to leave to go get more food as all Iâve had is some olives and a small bit of meat. There was also ONE MAN working who clearly didnât know what he was doing which made it even wk IâmThank the lAlthough I will say the music is probably the tastiest thing on the menu. Wonât be returning. Date visited: 29/07/19

Our family of 10 were staying nearby in 2 villas. This was the restaurant we went back to again & again because we found this place wonderfully welcome & the food was excellent. (The best quinoa salad ever). It was very clean & appealing. Recommend.

Taverna Bar Stelios is a family run restaurant opened in 1987. From that time our mother is cooking until now. Every day we offer a big variety of fresh local products from the local producers and fishermans.

We were staying next door at an all inclusive hotel, but we loved Stelios Taverna so much we ate here for a couple of evening meals, rather than at our hotel buffet. The taverna is set in an amazing location, right on the beach with stunning views. The menu is very greek, very extensive and you will find something you love on it. The food is amazing, all freshly prepared, very authentic, quality ingredients and loads of it. Great value for money and a lovely atmosphere. It's a family business, and all the staff were lovely and very friendly. The complimentary desserts & raki/ouzo at the end of the meal was a lovely gesture by the taverna, those of you who have eaten at Stelios will know what I mean, and those who haven't eaten there yet really should go. This is probably one of the best tavernas/restaurants I have been to in years.

After having some not so nice experience in Heraklion we tried Maxim, based on the reviews here. We were not disappointed. As appetizer we had mussels saganaki, a huge plate with mussels and vegetables covered with melted cheese. Main course was a traditional dish made of lamb, delicious as well. 2 persons shared 1 portion of each since we wanted to try more than one plate, and it was actually too much! Portions are big. Even if we were full, the server brought us fruits and raki on the house, very good option for desert.
