Reviewed By hemalih2022We have visited many hotels around the country but Dolphin is very very special. overall service,Location,food and clean rooms.All the staff are very attentive and very friendly always with big smile on their face specialy Sanjeewa at the main restaurant he looked after us very well from the arrival to departure. Shakila at animation team made our kids animated all the time. Wimalathunga at bar service arranged our evening gathering at nice location. Chandana at front office arranged our all the rooms with nice view. Thank you all for lovely weekend. We will come back.

Our Stay at the Resort
Reviewed By Nick_PereraOur stay at the resort during 7/8 May was ok; on a scale of 1 - 10, I'd only give 4 unfortunately. The staff was really good and very courteous especially Nelum at the reception; however there was a guy named Gayan (not quite sure of the name though); he appeared very pressured at the reception; may due to the amount of guests he had to handle, heat etc. Our rooms were not well maintained at all; I think they were abandoned rooms. This is not a reflection on the cleaning staff at all. These rooms 116, 117, 118 and 119; should be fully renovated please!!! Oh the pool was well maintained and thank you for that. Good value for money was not provided at all :(

Guests can enjoy a beach volleyball, billiards or table tennis at Ranweli. Water activities such as paddle boating, canoeing and kayaking are available. Ranweli is able to organize boat rides and bird watching tours. You can experience multi-cuisine dishes at the buffets of the resort's restaurant & a variety of liquor is served at the pool bar.

Reviewed By erandip101A stay like no other! Being one with nature, tasting amazing foods from a top chef or winding down with a massage, whatever you experience there, is good for the soul! The yoga sessions were also great. We had an amazing session with Saman, who was very experienced and has given us a lot of things on our way to work on. More than anything the amazing staff make the stay even more memorable. We had a wonderful stay we will never forget and took home a lot of learnings and memories. Would recommend to anyone who want to take a jouney inwards and fully want to spoil yourself for a few days!

A Visit to Dunkeld Bungalow
Reviewed By Gotabhaya RI had the absolute pleasure of visiting one of the most beautiful places on earth, Dunkeld Estate which sits proudly overlooking the calm waters of Castlereagh Lake surrounded by mesmerizing views of humongous green-velvety mountains that grandly rise to the clear blue skies. Not only was the scenery breathtaking, but the bungalow holds a tone of rich serenity and is tastefully decorated, amazingly comfortable, clean, and subtlety spoke of luxury in every detail. If you wander in the lush wilderness you'd be able to get a glimpse of the resilient leopards on their majestic hunt. The staff graciously pointed to us the hiking, trekking, and biking trails that led us through the heavenly greens of the Castlereigh Reservoir and connected pathways to the other four grand bungalows secretly nestled in the valley. The very informative Tea Factory tour led by Barnard who is a connoisseur showed us how the rich liquor was created, with thorough processing, grading, and tasting of the finely plucked tea leaves. Our evenings were spent either enjoying a silent game of chess, or we got the balls rolling in the cozily-built billiard room. The well-lit fireplace lifted the atmosphere, and we gathered around it to enjoy a drink we poured from the bar in-house. The spa services were amazing and the services were offered by true professionals. The staff was very accommodating, kind, caring, and offered a very professional service. We enjoyed scrumptious food prepared for us by Chef Ravi Chandra and Janaka the Butler, Lahiru, Chamara & Umesh, the House Attendants were very helpful and attentive to our every need. A heartfelt note of appreciation to Dilmah Group of Companies for their invaluable services in taking care of fauna flora as well as the numerous projects that assist preserve the Sri Lankan traditions and culture. I look forward to visiting the heavenly Dunkeld Estate again to delve and savor the beautiful nature, & its creations and to indulge in the luxuriousness of Dunkeld Bungalow with its amazing staff. - Dr. Gotabhaya Ranasinghe

Jungle River is situated in Ginigathena. Boasting free shuttle service, this property also provides guests with an outdoor pool. The property provides a children's playground and a 24-hour front desk. Guests at the resort can enjoy a continental or an Asian breakfast. We speak your language!
Nice experience at Tree house
Reviewed By nir0shJungle River hotel is situated along the way to Ginigathhena from Colombo. We selected a tree house to stay overnight. The tree house option was a nice idea as we have enjoyed a lot there. It had basic facilities, wash room and a balcony with mountainous view. I loved the morning view from tree house as Kehelgamu Oya valley was covered with mist. We were able to see Aberdeen fall in far and Kehelgamugala on side of the tree house. The staff of Jungle River was friendly I really appreciate the service of the Tamil boy (Sorry can't remember the name) who served us. We have driven to Kehelgamu Oya to visit a waterfall situated at hotel premises. But that road is narrow and so steep, I will not recommend for a law ground vehicle. Their foods were delicious specially Polos Pizza.
