This is a throw back to the 70's of cafes. The tables, chairs, flatware, plates, cups look old and worn but the prices are great and the food is good. Service is super friendly but if they get slammed your food will take a while- understandably.A friend & I met there @ 8am on a Sunday and we left full and I paid a reasonable /fair price. If we had gone to ABC, White Spot or Denny's the prices would have been about 20-25% higher.2 meals:a) Ham, mushroom & cheese omelette with lots of cubed hash browns & brown toast was $14b) coffee is $2.50c) French toast with baconTotal was $33 plus tip.Meals were hot, Heinz Ketchup bottle was full and clean. Table area, floor all clean.There are about 10-12 tables with 4 seats each plus counter seating of about 6-8.Plenty of free street parking. Many patrons were over 65 yrs old.If you want to head to Steveston this is a good place to have breaky and then walk around & explore the village after.If you want updated decor with fast service (IHOP last week had our food ready in 5 mins) then you may want to try others along #3 Rd near Richmond Centre Mall.

We happened upon this little restaurant because there was a power failure on Fishermanâs Wharf in Steveston so we had to find somewhere else to eat. What a find! Great service, the best Eggs Benedict (perfect portion size, hearty bread, delicious rosemary ham, eggs cooked perfectly, tasty roast potatoes, yummy cantaloupe). Friendly, efficient service, too. Everything is sourced locally and organic. Definitely recommend it - and so much cheaper than the touristy Fishermanâs Wharf restaurants!

I had to ask the waitress three times for my drink but she never brought it the food was very tasty I had the traditional breakfast and the waitress appeared friendly enough but would never bring the drink I ordered not sure if she forgot or was being malicious regardless she never checked on my table and the place wasnât busy if the food wasnât good I would have complained to the manager but the food was tasty and affordable and for that reason Iâll give this place another chance

Food is excellent and very reasonably priced. Breakfast sandwiches are excellent value. Fanned potatoes are amazing.
