Reviewed By Ana PWe stayed there for my niece's wedding last weekend (7/10/16). The most beautiful venue for an outdoor wedding I have ever been. Gorgeous surroundings. Comfortable rooms. Extremely friendly owners and staff. Loved breakfast. Very quite at night. Not far from downtown (3 Km). Highly recommend it. Looking forward to come back to Petrópolis and stay there again.

Reviewed By PabloCFA great place to stay, visit, eat, relax and buy “cachaça”. Rancho da Cachaça is a family administered facility. With some great attractions: 1) the food. Cooked in slow wood stoven. Old school, like my gramma and gran gra mamma used to do. 2) the food, again, but not itself. The view from the restaurant is something you can’t miss. 3) the “cachaça” production set. You can see a little bit of the production environment, and the ranch were they stay until the right time to drink. 4) the rooms are very quiet. 5) they let the beverage area open at night with no one working. With a little booknote and a pen. With you get something, like a beer for example, just note it and pay when you live. Someday they cook porks and ribs. Look at their Instagram to see. Reviewed By smurluIf you want to have an authentic farm experience, yet don’t want to give up the comforts of a fine hotel, this is the place to visit. Simple but amazingly clean rooms, refurbished as well, I didn’t find one single bug inside! The food - outstanding! Simple too, but traditional and home made. Not to mention the horses - I have never seen such well treated animals!!! And - last but not least - the BEST TEAM EVER!!! From the reception to the guys who lead the horse riding moments, all the employees are kind, fun and have our well being as the main goal at all times! I felt home! And I will definitely go back!

Farm hotel. Place to love
Reviewed By Walter DUnforgettable days spent there. Stunning landscape, nice "goiana" food, nice bar, nice staff and management people. Place to see stars (even falling stars and some others I can't determine it's meaning), to get a romantic atmosphere, to hear and count tales around the fire. Ask for the owner (I can't recall her name) to know the whole history of the place, and a lot of what have been going there over the years.

Great getaway in the "Paradise for Trekking"
Reviewed By Robert SA historic hotel from the mid 1800's, wonderful hospitality and delicious food. All surrounded by innumerous waterfalls, breathtaking views and panoramic trekking trails. A small, built, waterfall at the hotel is the "cherry on the cake" after a long day's trekking.
