Just for the Halibut has always provided great food and great service. We use both their dining in and take out services, and have always been pleased with both. The dining room is a good place to entertain friends and offers a diverse menu. The prices are in line with a quality restaurant. I recommend Just for the Halibut to anyone visiting Bobcaygeon, but just be aware that they do take a winter holiday for several weeks, so it would be a good idea to call ahead.

Great place if arriving by boat or car, food can bevupscale or mid scale. Seating in or out. Staff friendly. Food ok not spectacular but pleasing !!

It is a great place for people to get together and have a coffee and snack, lunch, or have a fun evening of karaoke.
It is located right on the main street (Bolton), in the heart of things, and with this year's addition of roll up windows, it is very welcoming.
Kathleen , the owner is friendly and welcoming as well.

We were visiting from out of Province and touring with relatives from the area. stopped for lunch. Service was excellent, France was our waitress, did an excellent job.. We all ordered different meals, everyone was pleased. They were able to accommodate a celiac diet. Very relaxing and friendly.

A grilled cheese restaurant? Really? YES!
This place surprised me. What a fantastic meal! The soup was delicious -- I'll definitely try the 3 soup sampler next time. My Sandwich was wonderful.
I'm looking forward to a return visit to Bobcaygeon so I can go back to The Grilled Cheese Hideaway.

Awesome pub fare food with a fantastic (pet friendly) patio. The inside is smaller. Most of the Seating is outside so it's a 3 season pub. Service is top notch. Nachos , fries and fish tacos are the bestAlways a pleasure to have guests that "get" what we are doing here!!! Glad you brought the dog in for a visit! It's always nice to see people enjoying themselves and not having to leave the dog at home!! Hope to see you back soon.

... unless you're looking for chicken noodle soup. Liz and staff take the concept of soup with Sandwich or salad to another level. Every day has a unique artisan soup which you can pair with a selection of wonderfully crafted and flavourful sandwiches or fresh salads that are far from everyday. Tasteful decor, friendly service and great patio for those sunny lunch days. Beer and wine available too. Perfect!!
