Thanks to Chef Aaron (one of the best chefs, in my opinion) and our server, Brooke, for a wonderful dinner. Delicious and more than enough!A gem of a restaurant. The dishes off the regular menu that we saw going by looked fantastic too; we will definitely be back.

We entertained some young relatives from Western Canada at Paglione. We have been long-time customers and still shed a tear when we see Patriarch Paglione's beloved accordion in the restaurant (he passed awat all too soon after establishing his dream of a winery). In any event, there are few things that can rival a beautiful sunny day spent in the vineyard eating delicious wood oven pizza and sipping wine. The pizza is GREAT as is the dessert pizza which is wood-oven pizza with nutella spread on it - absolute bliss. Service is attentive but the wine lacks Papa Paglione's masterful touch and I would generously call it "earthy". No matter, with pizza and the scenery as good as Paglione, one can easily quaff a glass or two with the pizza and then enjoy something a bit more refined at the other wineries down the road. A great place to enjoy the great scenery on the Lake Erie North Shore Wine ROute without spending a fortune. Pizza and a glass of wine will run about $30 and one pizza is plenty for two.

Our server Karyn was friendly but not very fast or efficient. I ordered the burger ($17) with NO mustard and a side salad with buttermilk ranch dressing. The burger was smothered in grainy mustard and the salad dressed with a mustard vinaigrette. I scraped the mustard off and it was a very tasty burger. Karyn wanted to just bring me the correct dressing to ADD to the already dressed salad. I asked for it to be replaced with the correct dressing. The owner/manager(?) provided a complimentary dessert as compensation. Nice gesture but Karynâs comment that the comp was because the dressing âwasnât on the sideâ did not reflect the errors and certainly didnât acknowledge her part in our dissatisfaction. My husbandâs perch ($19) with their Cooper Fries ($2.) was perfect. This was our second visit but we probably wonât return.Thank you for the feedback on your recent experience.
