The little corner restaurant has a lovely ambience and great food! We had a chicken pot and fish pot - the food is cooked inside a sealed, clay pot. Then they heat the pot on an open flame in front of you and break it open to serve on the plate. It was wonderful! We were also given some great baklava on the house as well as tea. The price was excellent as the meal for two including a starter was 30 euro only. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone wanting to enjoy the great Turkish hospitality and food.

Situated conveniently in the city centre of Sultanahmet near the main attractions, this place offers traditional Turkish cuisine and desserts. I've eaten a lot of Kebab platters on my trip to Istanbul and this place has got the best one - really tender meats and the platter offers a great a variety of kebabs. Worth a visit.

I booked a table online as i thought would be more crowded since is number 1 in tripadvisor. Was empty but we got a nice table by the window. We were unsure of what to eat and follow recommendations of ennes. It turned out that food was really nice. We also got a lentils soup. Plates were really big and tasty. I would just say price is a bit high for turkey plus the views are really poor. Hope they watch out with that prices.Thank you!Cristina

Inside, the restaurant isn't very big. We stayed on the terrace because the weather was warm.Two starters were on the house and because they didn't had the hummus we ordered, we recieved an eggplant salad free.Adana kebap very good taste.Lamb chops... I could eat 20 pieces :)Spicy shrimps particular good taste.Mix fish plate for 2 very fresh and tasty. Fried calamary good. Serving was attentive. Prices are good. We had baclava, tea and coffee on the house. The don't tax service on the bill.

I was going to meet with my friends at the theatre last night, which is next building of Sait Ä°skender Restaurant in Ä°stinye. I noticed the restaurant when I go to Ä°stinye Park Shopping Mall, but never been there before. I had a little time for dinner and sat one of the tables and asked an "Iskender Kebap". The service was good and my selection was excellent. The meat was very well cooked and the butter on the top was smelling wonderful. I mostly ate it together with yoghurt but this time it was a little different. Yoghurt came in a separate plate. It was so tasty and loved it very much. The price is moderate. Parking space available.
