Tried to get take out here on Mothers day. I knew it would be a busy day for them so I called 2hr early and put in our order. When my daughter went to pick up the order it was not ready and she was told "10 minutes". She paid for the food and waited and waited checking every 10 minutes to see if it was ready. She saw people come and go with orders but not ours. Meanwhile we had a house full of people waiting for food to arrive. After an hour a told her just to get a refund and we would get something else. She was told "we don't do refunds" and forced to wait longer. Finally after an hour and half a lady jammed a bag at here and said "here's your order" without so much as a "sorry for your wait". When we opened up the bag at home it was completely the wrong order. Then minutes later the phone rang and it was Cha Baa thai calling. My wife picked up the phone and the lady from the restaurant said bluntly "are you picking up your order or what?". Clearly, they had finally made the correct order 2nrs late and not realized my daughter had already left with the wrong order she had been given and they were now upset we weren't there to pick it up! My wife filled them in on the whole situation and they said we would get our correct order anytime we wanted in the future. This did not make us happy as they should have offered to refund the whole order. Two days later i called to take them up on their offer of replacing our order for free and the manager todl me they would only give us half of what we had ordered since we did pick up some food on Mothers day. Are you kidding me? I promptly told them what they could do with their food and I will never set foot in any of their locations again. There are many other choices for Thai food in Halifax that offer much better service.

Chose this restaurant (last minute, because I couldn't make up my mind) to eat out on my 50th Birthday. It isn't really a fancy place, but I'm not really a fancy girl. Our waitress Kim, once we told her it was our first time, was awesome! so informative with the menu which helped us decide what to order. The portions are great for sharing, but I really wanted to try the curry, and my partner is not a fan... so he got the Roasted Cashew Nuts with Chicken. I had the Penang Curry and we shared a medium size of the Jasmine Rice. We also ordered the Spring Rolls as a starter. Everything was very delicious.

Food was great from the appetizer of hot and sour soup with a spring roll to the main course of crispy chicken with steamed rice and green tea.

An offshoot of Thai Ivory on the Bedford Highway, the express version delivers the same sort of foods you'll find at the mothership location. I found it to be pretty good for fast food.

Have gone to this neighbourhood restaurant in the Bedford Place Mall annex at least once a month, either for take-out or eat in, for over ten years! The food is always good and reliable. Take out is always quickly processed. They also have the best Pad Thai in our opinion. The proprietor ,Deng, and her family who run it, are very friendly and on a first name basis with many of their loyal clientele who frequent this Bedford eatery.
