If you have a need for Mexican food (and this US transplant regularly does!) there are not many options in southern half of The Netherlands. I am fortunate enough to live nearby this restaurant, which serves good quality Mexican at a nice price. Over the years, my family have frequented this restaurant and always enjoy talking with Roland, Manuela and Jerry as well as other members of the team. It can be quite busy some nights, because it is a popular local dinner location, particularly on weekends and during the summer, when the âGaudi Gardenâ in the back of the restaurant is opened up. But if you want sit in the sun, enjoy a margarita and some good food at a fair price, this is the place. When it is busy, you might need to wait a little longer for your drinks and food, but it is definitely worth it. There is no better testament than return customers...we peridocally see a family who travel from Germany on weekends to have dinner here. The staff are customer friendly...greet many customers by name and know their children. More recently a group of women had dinner with a friend before she entered the hospital for a medical procedure. Days later...tapas was delivered to her room at the hospital. Priceless.Recommend highly!

We selected the 5 course menu, but due to dietary requirements, not all dishes were the same. My partner rated all courses very highly, literally calling it an â explosion of flavorsâ. For me, the first dish was bland, all other courses were superb. The wine arrangement is good, and I really liked the option of half glasses to go with each course.The restaurant set up is different. All tables and seats are facing the kitchen, dinner theatre style. The set up allows the guests to follow what the cooks are doing, which is nice as long as they are preparing the dishes. But when the team start to clean the kitchen, vigorously scrubbing the floors and walls, it turns a romantic evening out in a painful reminder of the daily household chores. We would recommend you start dinner at 6pm at the latest in order to avoid this part of the spectacle.

We ate at this restaurant as a couple on a day during the work week. The owner is really Spanish and this helps when choosing traditional Spanish food. The system they use by choosing 3-4 different dishes per person (without an appetizer and main dish system) is rather cumbersome but the food is well prepared although some meat dishes could be heavy for non-Spanish people. The wine they import directly from Spain is really good.

Had a fairly ordinary meal here. We ordered 5 different tapas. All were fairly disappointing. Wine not great. Nothing special at all. The menu was different to their sister restaurant and what is published online which was also a let down.
