Went here after recommendation for a good coffee. And indeed the coffee is good here (had an americano). It's a little more expensive then the local coffee places but it has coffee of good quality and that means a lot to me. The atmoshere is good, service can be a bit slack at times. There are some tv playing music quite loud, which can be a little annoying when you want to have a good conversation, but managed to have a good conversation anyway. Tried the pie too, which is ok. Went back there the following day, for another good coffee.

If you are looking for traditional American food, Fogon is for you. The nachos are particularly good, and burgers are above average for Ecuador. Don't eat here if you want to experience traditional Ecuador. The brownies are also some of the most American desserts that I have ever had in Ecuador.
The best option in Argentine-style grilled meats in the city, in a sporty and cozy atmosphere. Top quality meat cuts
This place looked inviting, so in we went. There was a wide range of steaks available, and we ordered. Despite bottles on display, they didn't have any of the Latitud Cero craft beer, so we had aqua con gas in preference to Pilsener. The meal took a long time to arrive, and when it did we were a little underwhelmed. Even in an Argentinian restaurant I wasn't expecting parilla standards, but my steak was thick and severely undercooked. in the middle. Service was casual. At least it was cheap!

Very fine food, probably one of the best in Riobamba, mix between ecuadorian highland and a Peruvian chef. Some dishes a little to cheesy, but generally very very good. I prefere the pulpo al olivo. Shrimps in quinao, or the crabsclaws kn quinoa.

We stopped by for lunch during a long road trip and we were so happy with the food and service! The chef made a recommendation for a small change to one of the orders and it was an excellent choice. There were six of us and we ordered many things - chicken, pork, seafood, etc. Everything was wonderful; my pork chop was the most tender I have ever had! The chef was so friendly and even came to our table to check on us. We had a nice conversation with him after our meal. We are very happy that we stopped here for lunch. If you get the chance, you should try... I don't think you'll be disappointed!
