Food was surprisingly good. Many items are tapas style so you can try different multiple items for the price of one meal. They also offer full meals. Cervesaâs are ice cold. Recommend stopping by for tapas.

The food is over priced , the service is nice but I ate at several sodas in town and all of them served better seafood then this place at half the price . Great view , nice for people watching .

The four of us were staying at Pacifico Condominiums and wanted to find a place for breakfast and lunch when we were in town. It's a little hard to spot but we were so lucky to find El Rinconcito Criollo. Just to give an example of breakfast for four of us one morning: 3 ham and cheese omelettes, 1 plate of fried plantains, 2 orange juice (fresh), 1 hash browns, water, 1 French toast, 1 pinto en combo (beans and rice, a national Tico dish), coffees. And the interesting thing is that on different mornings the same orders were served differently, each enjoyable, and that added to the diversity of the menu. It is not a fancy place, but the server and other employees couldn't have been nicer. Pura Vida!

A wonderful family-owned restaurant, featuring local seafood, generous servings and delicious mixed drinks! Our group of seven adults tried a variety of entrees for lunch and everyone was happy with their choices, which ranged from seafood cocktails/ceviches, to grilled and fried entrees and combo plates to hamburgers.

Bobo hotel has recently opened as a very nice Italian restaurant. They make their own pasta. They have great vegetarian and vegan options. It is a little off the beaten path and there are no ocean views but it is well worth the drive from ocotal it Coco. thank you very much for your review

After a week in town we finally got around to trying this place and wish we had found it sooner. Made to order pizzas and a full list of traditional Italian dishes, all of them beautifully presented and tastily prepared.Outdoor dining and a very gracious wait staff made our visit all the more enjoyable. My wife is a vegan and they were very accommodating

Donna runs an amazing operation, tailoring her menus to her clients, and providing both locally sourced and internationally inspired cuisine. We had the pleasure of having our breakfasts and dinners prepared by Donna and Marta for a week while we visited Costa Rica, and there wasn't a single meal I didn't love. Combine that with the absolute JOY they brought to every meal, and it added up to one of the best weeks of food and friends ever! I can hardly wait till August, when we'll be doing it all again!Thank you Mike for your beautiful review! Martha and I have become so attached to Mike and the group that accompanied him on this trip. It was like cooking for my family, making sure that everyone was happy and pleased with their food, was priority. I can't wait for your return!

Our family of six had a fun time finding this place, and were glad we did. It's a great place to relax by the beach, have some tropical drinks and good food. We stayed around to watch the sun set on a huge rock between two islands off shore. The team of servers was very attentive. Our only complaint would be the constant battle to keep pesky flies off of our drinks and food.Hello Birdguy: Thank you for your review and for your business! I am very happy to hear that you enjoyed your time with us. I have watched many sunsets between the mountain and island in front of Father Rooster. It is quite a display. Glad you enjoyed the food and drinks. I wish that we had a better solution for the flies. They come on occasion and cover the entire region--generally when the winds are pushing out from the farmland over the ocean. It is pretty tough to keep them at bay. In any case, thanks again for your business and please come back again soon!
